Weekly Time Attack Proposal

[RACECAR]

I have been doing this as a means of getting my driving skills better and thought that this might make an interesting challenge. The way this works is that You watch a full lap shown in a video:



Then you try to beat that lap time in that course with an identical car and identical settings:




This challenge will take place weekly with a different course and or car.


What do you guys think? Feel free to give some reasonable suggestions on what could make this better.

I think it's an interesting idea, but maybe not necessarily with a specific car, maybe just post times for every car on a track but rotate once a week?

Well, its more authentic(or close to it) when its with a car thats near identicle to the one in the video making it more of a challenge, but I'll think about that.

It'd be fairly easy to beat the real times, I know the Cote D'azure time is a difference of atleast 5 seconds. Its also impossible to replicate the settings of the car.

And making it weekly would just make it another WRS.

There just needs to be more people making challenges in the section of the forum. I remember I made 9 to choose from, I had times lined up and everything, and not a single person gave a damn...

That'll be really cool... and with the real car deal you should have them in different sections and put the real car used in the video on one sections and all the others in another section.
