So Recently I have stopped using weight reduction on y drft cars, actually I have been adding weight to them to be able to get them to enter a corner nicely, is there any benefit in using the weight reduction? maybe only stage 1 or 2? does it depend on the car?

i was assuming this belonged in the tuning section as i am going to ask some tuning questions after this is answered.

Right, we can tell you how to make the car turn-in better, in a quest for grip.

The drifting forum has people that know about drifting though.
Personally I find heavy cars are the easiest to control, so it's likely you'll get better results with a heavy car and a good setup.

It doesn't matter man. You can say that about adding too much power causes it to spin. Literally anything can screw it up. It's all about the rest of your tune. For example if the car is very heavy in the front you could try just lowering the rear more than the front making the weight shift to the back more. That way you get better balance and a lighter car. A lot of it has to do with how hard or soft you set the suspension.
