As far as I can tell wheels in GT3 are an appearance-only mod, and make no difference to handling or performance.

Weight disribution does occur in :gt:3.

If the car leans to one side obviously more weight is put down and more grip is gained :car:

As far as tyres themselves, the weight is included in the overall car weight...:burnout:

Really..? Hmm must be psychological then, I always think the car handles better with smart wheels although there never seemed to be any difference between wheel sets.

I have a "favorite" set of lucky rims. It's psychological to a point, right up until you see the 2D appearance of the wheels in the opening camera angles of the race...

I was disappointed that wheels don't have any effect. hopefully next time, instead of 200 rims to pick from, we could have 30 rims that have a weight effect... Maybe then, people would understand why 18" rims aren't good for racing (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more)...

The only thing I use wheels for is to keep track of my cars. I put aftermarket wheels on modded cars, and keep stock cars with the original wheels.

But yes, I have favorites, nonetheless. And some of the stock pieces are just hideous.
