Weird avatar problem.

Well, I seem to have come across a strange glitch with Integra Type R's avatar while browsing the 2008 Subaru Impreza thread.

And when I right click on the image and clicked view image, the link it gave me to is: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/image.php?u=6785&dateline=1164946159

Then, I click on the avatar to go to the user profile, and the picture goes to a normal sized, compressed version of the picture.

I've had a similar, but opposite bit of avatar-weirdness happen once before: While surfing Google Maps, someone's GTP avatar appeared over a landmass in Palm Beach County. I wish I took a screenshot of that one!

My guess is that a similar (or the same) filename existed in the browser's cache, it assumed that was the image to be used, so it loaded the "wrong" image instead.

I'd hazard a guess that Pupik is correct here, with something screwy in the cache. There is definitely no advertisement which could be displayed there. Have you visited TechBargains recently?

Yeah, I went on TechBargain's I think an hour or two before the avatar problem, so it probably was a weird cache issue or something. Thanks. 👍
