Weird bug?

For a laugh I took my Fiat 500 for a spin on the Rome track, Amateur series Italian event.

I'd almost made a full lap before others started to lap me.

Then, at the first set of bends, the 3 or 4 cars ahead slowed right down.... so much that I was able to overtake all but the leader.... and I was doing a whopping 50 mph!!!

They stayed slow, crawling past on the straights but I took them again at the bends..... has anyone found any similar odd behaviour?
 
The AI respects the Fiat 500 :sly:

only reason why they slow down: you block them OR they finished race (you was 1 lap behind the field..) so they end 1 lap earlier than you

I think you're right.... they didn't want to humiliate it! Actually it's a pleasant little drive.... I didn't need to brake anywhere!!
 
When you hit 50mph you may have been sharing their air resistance (drafting)

When you are dead last and the cars are still out there slowly moving around, I consider all them ZOMBIES. :crazy:
 
got the same thing at Daytona in a Nascar....stopped on lap 3 to play with my wheel controls and the next thing I know its been 12 minutes and the the field has done 2 laps instead of 10+
