Here's yet another strage e-mail that we sometimes get, but this one takes the cake. Weird thing is, that's not my addres but it came to me anyway. This guy e-mails me every once in awhile. I can't seem to get rid of his stupid spam. Just earlier today, he sent me the old "12 million dollar" scam e-mail. Pathetic.

How is this possible? What can be done to get rid of this guy once and for all?

It's called Bouncing. You can add the subject lines to you spam filter and it will block the messages.

I just got an e-mail for some random gay product, but it's funny how these spam companies are making their e-mails now. Using random words and sentences to mask their URL. Check this out::lol:

"Nick and I took inside girl (with pickup truck inside, beyond graduated cylinder.fruit cake over rejoices, but living with cream puff give lectures on morality to about cloud formation. For example, short order cook from indicates that curse about food stamp secretly admire hockey player living with.Furthermore, tripod beyond sweeps the floor, and polar bear inside maestro trade baseball cards with fundraiser living with razor blade.Indeed, around haunch learn a hard lesson from grizzly bear of."

That would be far too easy of a sentence for that cretin.

I'd rather duct tape him to a chair, and use a blow torch to cut his toes (one by one) and fingers off. Then, inch by inch, burn sections of his feet, legs, arms and such off.

The Torch will cauterize the wound, so no loss of blood. It would take literally weeks to fully cut him down to size. At which point, it's likely the infections would do him in.

I tend to get the e-mails for on-line cigarettes. Odd enough, I don't smoke (well the occasional cigar). Yes, I used to get the "Here's a new degree" one, but as soon as I added "non-accr" to my filter, those went away. I stopped getting the "Nigerian Letter" after I started responding with sentences entirely unappropriate for most adult movies.

Woah, you got it like just barely after I got my first piece of spam! WTG!!!111!!!!!!!!!

I get mostly Nigerian spam emails, though they all come from Middle Eastern countries for some reason. I also get spam from this one guy trying to sell me Photshop for $60. Mail's bayesian filter is good enough though that even with only a few days of training, it catches almost everything now. 👍

BTW Der Alta, did they seriously stop coming in due to your replies? I was thinking of replying to one, but I've heard that when you reply to a piece of spam, that validates your email address, making the problem even worse.

Well, with the amount of spam that I get, it certainly relieved some pressure, and it was fun.

Some of it did stop.

One came in and I responded with "unkind" words and references to his facial features. At the end, I said "get back to me but first , can you explain why the header on your e-mail states your IP address as being from Amsterdam?" Haven't gotten another one since. Gotta love ARIN WHOIS.
