Weird force feedback problem

I own a Logitech Driving force gt wheel for some years now. Recently I noticed there is something wrong with the force feedback. I can still feel the curbs, the bumps, the collisions but there is a noisy tremble when I try to force turn the wheel to the opposite direction it want's to go. And the force now is very weak. It used to move the whole desk I have it on. I have opened the wheel and it seems like as the motor is trying to overcome my feedback it doesn't produce enough power, it works up to the point it can't do anything more and stops so it gives very short bursts of power that cause the tremble.

I started noticing this when I moved from gt5 to gt6 and It took some time to realize it because I thought it that was the new physics.

I tested the wheel with other games and with Logitech profiler on pc but I can't decide if should replace it because everything else concerning the force feedback works ok. Any opinions on that?

Can you try it with GT5 again?
It's just 6 that feels funny?
They added a few different force feedback options in one of the patches. Have you messed with those to see if it improved any?

Just made the stupidest move. After searching everywhere I bought a new dfgt thinking the old one was broken.. Well guess what... It wasn't...
