Weird G27 problem

I went to use my G27 today, and right as soon as my free run starts the car came to a halt. For some reason the brake was being half applied even though I wasn't touching it. I thought the throttle and clutch were working fine, but when I press start on either the controller or the wheel it automatically returned to gameplay as if the x button (or throttle) was stuck. I unplugged it and went back to the pre race menu. Right after I plugged it back it, it did part of the calibration but stopped partway through. The cursor was forced all the way to the right too like the right button was stuck. And finally, as soon as it was plugged in the menu music volume dropped dramatically. If I unplugged it, it went back to normal level. Anyways, I did a little searching and didn't find anyone with this weird of a problem. I haven't torn apart the wheel yet but I really have no clue yet if there is something I can do to fix it or not. :nervous:

The potentiometers in the pedals do get dirty and will stick. I've had to take it apart and clean them a few times.

But if its full time half brake and hitting the pedal doesn't change it then I'm not so sure.

Under the wheel is the plugs for the pedals and power, did you make sure they were all in and tight?

My suggestion is to check all the connections to the wheel. I've had a problem in the past where one of the connections worked its way loose. The power connection is famous for this :)

Thanks for the help. I looked right under the wheel and two of the plugs weren't quite in all the way. Works again now! It's strange how it caused all of the weird problems though :odd:
