On the TGTT and all the cars have disappeared apart from mine (I'm still in the room because convos are still working) and one other. The other car's engine is revving constantly but the car crawls along and slides about when hit like an Ice Hockey puck. Really, really weird. has anyone else had this?

Yes. This is a late response but yeah it's happened to me before. Did it happen while you were there? Or if you were actually on the track? It looks really funny when your seeing it happen. I was there (It happened on Nurburgring too) and everyone dissapeared except one or two people who glided across the track and walls. Though when I touched one they did slide and when I touched them a second time, it was time to freeze. Oh well. Really strange. I do wish I knew how that happens. Host connection problems maybe?

yeah this happpenes on some tracks in online rooms. Sometimes its like i drive straight through another persons car and a second later they go flying and the "crash" has not effected me at all.

I can imagine on the other persons screen there was a brutal collision but on my screen there is no such thing

Last week in monster's F1 room at Indy I started a race and had no draft. Everybody else could draft but my car just slowly went up to speed like there was no cars there. Very disturbing.

I've had times where on TGTT, the race starts for me, but all the other cars were not with me. Then I exited the race, and went to "watch" and could see the cars were all going as if nothing odd had happened at all.
I've also seen races (various tracks) where people are talking about there only being 4 people in the race, and a completely different race order... and I'm seeing 8 people or more in the race. But the people who only see 4 people on their list, don't even see the other cars on the track. They might even claim they didn't cause a collision... because from their point of view, the collision never took place - but the rest of us saw it or felt it.

I don't know what causes this, but it MUST be a connectivity issue of some type. Either a PSN error, or some connection issue of individual players... hard to say.

Yes, this happens rarely. Still a pain in the ass IMHO. - think it's an extreme form of lag.
