Hello!

GTPlanet is proud to host Board Challenge 5, an international OnLine Racing competition bringing together the fastest known racers in the Gran Turismo world.

We hope to have teams from all parts of the globe competing. For good or bad, English seems to be the most commonly spoken language for international business these days, and it seems the majority of users speak English well enough to discuss the competition. We realize that language may be an issue and so I would like to urge all users to write clear posts using their best English possible, and avoiding too much slang.

I would also like to urge all Teams to post any discussions of the rules, the proposed rounds, etc. here on this board as a central point of information for all competitors. Feel free to discuss any Team business in private, but if you have something to say to the whole group, it will be best if you post it on this forum.

So all the participating members are coming to GTP or just going to similar threads at their home sites?
 
Maybe you should start a question thread for those who don't know about the BC5. It would keep some of the clutter down.

@Blackbird: Everyone gets their team together at their own forums but the majority the event takes place here. Rules, results, discussions, etc. will all happen at GTP.

Hi Duke.
Firstly a Big Thanks to the Planet for taking the brave step of hosting No5. We all wish you well for the work that lies ahead.
As you've seen, Torc Talk is a smallish forum and is now in the proccess of trying to get together a team. If we get enough together to field a team, we will sign up officially. In the meantime we'll' keep all team clutter at home and only contribute to anything that affects the bigger picture.

The very best of luck to all boards running, and of course, to the poor admins in charge of it all :) I'm sure you'll do a great job 👍
 
I wanna second the Thanks for hosting the competition Duke, and u also seem to be very efficient...seeing we started to talk about it just a week ago or so, and u already done all this 👍
I'm sure/hoping it'll be handled greatly by this year's administration :)

Firstly good luck to Duke and the GTP crew for hosting the BC5. Seems like an enternity ago that the first one was being run, and here we are at number 5! Ahh, the memories.

btw- if a bar fight breaks out then i'll not hesistate to go straight for the balls :scared: :p

Seriously though, cheers to all of the other teams and i hope we can have one great BC5. TorcTalk may be a small forum, but we will hold our own at the post race parties :cheers:

Too bad i can't participate on this one, BC3 and 4 were awesome. But i don't play GT anymore, so a no go for me...
