Well....what's going on here ?!?!?

Since the maintenance update last night or whatever it was, I now have a major problem with GT5. The game loads in okay, all main screens load in, i just enter an event, any event, but for example the new 750pp world circuits in my 905c, the event starts to load, there is a momentarily glitch where the sound stops and the bar loading stops, the bar and sound start again and then, NO SOUND at all, the bar goes all the way to the end and stops, nor the track or event load it, it just sits there with the drivers and cars going across the track. All was fine yesterday and now today, i am screwed. Does the same in practice.

anyone else got this or problems or more importantly, a solution? Cheers. Further testing, A spec events load every time BUT, seasonals and practice, won't get past the load bar.

I would say for a solution... wait until next maintenance and see what happens. Sorry for your glitch. Must be terrible. :(
 
Very, did the same events several times, tuned and practised several cars before this and all fine, today, can't race at all, except A spec and that is complete, give or take.
 
An hour of it trying to load and nothing, backround music starts and stops. A spec fine, practice and all seasonals cannot now be played. Looks like that's it for me with GT5.
 
Have you tried clearing your cache? That seems to solve a lot of online issues.
 
Hi mate, I have tried most of the new seasonals in different cars and it hasn't hung at the loading screen on any yet. I haven't tried aspec yet either but I had this alot yesterday so hopefully it will just go. Good luck buddy!
 
Beside clearing the cache in the option menu, check and make sure the GT5 disc itself is clean from fingerprints or scratches. I've had a few problem with the game hanging but nothing a quick resetting wouldn't fix.

Unlike most people, the only game installed on my PS3 is GT5 and except for a few photomode pics and saved replays, there's nothing else. So I don't expect to have a lot of problem (and I haven't had a lot).
 
Don't ask me HOW,or WHY, but tonight and it didn't this morning, everything works fine.....what chance tomorrow per se? LOL
