Since the new PS2 machines dont got I-link, what do you think will happen to offline multiplaying with more then two players?

Is there any games that support "linking" with the network adapter while not connected to the internet?

Sorry if this has been brought up before. Did a search but found nothing about it.

Regards. //Eddie.

Yeah, I think they're migrating to network linking, simliar to XBox "System Link". It's basically low level networking. Gran Turismo 4 will have this capability. In actuallity this makes so much sense. I have just recently priced the i.Link hardwared (and bought some) for playing GT3 linked. The hub was $45 (cheapest I could find) and the cables are $25 a piece. With networking equipment everything is about 1/4 that price. Additionally it can be used for computers quite easily. A lot of people who have XBoxes also have computers, and a high speed internet connection. They probably already have a 4 port switch in their house, so it just makes good sense.

I sure as h*ll hope they will do it. I-Link meetings was half the fun in GT3. :D

Yeah I hope they do too, if my bro buys a PS2 it would be nice to play link games rather than split screen. :)
