Call this a noob question, but I haven't played GT5 in a little under a year, and recently I've been feeling nostalgic and I kinda want to play again. After checking out these forums for the first time in a little over 3 or 4 months, I've heard about "Hybrid" cars.

My first idea was "Why the 🤬 would GT5 incorporate Hybrid cars??? It's a racing game for God's sake! After a bit more research I've concluded that they are a mash-up of two completely random cars, but I'm still not sure.

So, my question is, What are hybrids, and are they fun to use/make?

blah blah blah

Run a search and you will find a ton of info.

@blah x3 they're basically what you said. Cars which have been modified outside of the game to have new engines, chassises, etc. They're perfectly fine offline but take them online and they sort-of break Sony's Terms Of Service and people get maaad.

Oh, and the last update (2.12) was meant to kill them off, but instead it reset all the engine-swapped cars and left the hundred-thousand horsepower cars driven by the guy in your avatar 👍
