What are my options on shifters with a G29 on GT Sport?

Currently I have an old worn out G27 shifter that needs replacing. What are my options. I'm not crazy about replacing it with another logitech piece. I saw somewhere that I could run a TH8A as a standalone but now after doing some more reading I found that it may not be an option. I primarily play GT on PS4 but am considering setting this up for Xbox and PC.

The only option with a lone G29 is another G27 shifter, or the Driving Force Shifter. Unless you get GIMX or Drive Hub. With Drive Hub on PS4 you can plug your G29 into the controller port, this will act as a thru mode, then the other two USB ports become avaiable as accessory ports, so you could plug in any Fanatec or Thrustmaster shifter &/or pedal set. I used my G29 in this manner with some Fanatec CSR Elite pedals in the other port & it worked flawlessly on PS4. Drive Hub will also make your G29 work on XB1.
