What are some great cars that are in the 430- 550pp range. I'd prefer premiums. These must have have at least one quality that makes them "a good drive", so please list the reason why you like them.

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A. It's premium. It's visually attractive, 50-50 weight distribution, FR, grippy, 1.3 smooth Rotary Engine with around 290 Horses, in a nutshell.

/\ judging by your avatar you really love them! LOL

I must second both reccomendations. The FR-S it's sublime and mild, and the RX-7 it's extremely aggresive, and one of the most beautiful sports cars out there. Also the touring version is one of the best cars in the game, IMO.

What makes it good, appealing.

Despite its low power, the FR-S can beat many cars at or above its "weight" class, i.e. around the same PP. He handling is smooth, communicative, and easy to manage. A true driver's car.

There's also this week's Car of the Week, the Ginetta G4, although it's a bit trickier to manage.

Lotus Elise 111R when tuned is a great car to race with. Good balance and handling.
It is good on twister tracks such as Autumn Ring and Twin Ring Motegi.

:)

RM cappuccino. Its premium and looks wonderful. Its kinda expensive, fully modded with RM tuning will run upwards of 200k, but its well worth it. With proper suspension tuning and, if you dont mind losing some realism, racing soft tires, the cappu literally eats any corner at full speed. The car excells in very technical maps, but may struggle with long straights. It will help you learn faster lines through tougher maps, although being a low PP race car it may have limited use online and in seasonals.

My personal favourite is Mazda RX-8 (premium). It can stretch from 450 to 530+ pp without a wing and is quite fast too.

Also one of my all around favourites. Good on all kinds of tracks, easy to tune, 50/50 weight dist, good on all tracks. Can't go wrong having a few of the in your garage with various tunes for 450-500+PP with various tire compounds.

All the S2000s (stock: 418-434PP) are fantastic, especially on SS tyres and after a few suspension/drivetrain tweaks. Then there's the Spoon S2000 '00 (448PP), Amuse S2000 R1 (468PP - personal favourite) and the LM Race car version (510PP).

I'm not as keen on the Amuse GT1 and GT1 Turbo but they're outside your PP level anyway.

I like S2000s. It's all about balance, precision and pace. Great at giant killing, especially on twisty circuits. You can take most of them to the limit with very little fuss. :D

Camaro SS is a 'guaranteed' winner for 500pp seasonals.
I am also reliably informed the premium Renault Megane is a capable 500pp contender.

This. The car's so grippy, and I've got to admit it handles better than its GT86 counterpart 👍

This, also the MR2 G Limited '97 is killer at 400PP level(its big brother the GTS is also under-rated in my opinion).

Always the Mazda RX-8. It's got good handling, weight distribution, and it's fast too. Others may be the Spirit R Rx7, FR-S, Atenza, and the occasional Mustang GT 07.
