What are the 5 bars (red/orange, yellow, and green) on the matching screen rooster?

I see the sportsmanship (E through S) and driver ratings. In the last upgrade there are now a potential 5 bars also on your entry line. Mine has been a 4 green for longest time. I occasionally see 3 yellow and one or two red. The highest looks like 4.5 bars green. I'm thinking it has something to do with moving "up", but is it "sportsmanship", "driver rating", or something else?
 
Do you mean the connection bars? lol
 
I might be wrong, but I think you're talking about the bars that represent your connection's quality.
 
It's how many strikes you have left from punting people off track, you're allowed 5 WOT punts per day.

or it could be your internet connection.
