First off, I apologize if there isn't a thread about this.

So, what ARE the best B-spec specifications? Or doesn't it matter because B-spec Bob will end up with full specifications at the end of the line anyway?

Obviously, we want speed, mental strength, physical strength and carreer to be maxed out. Same goes for braking, cornering and accuracy. This will probably be maxed out at level 40 anyway. Or not... Can anybody confirm?

But what about his character? Is it better to be nice and cool to do perfect laps, but slightly slower? Or would it be better to be a hot-head and do quicker laps, but with mistakes (which kicks down your speed, obviously)? Or is it best to be 50/50?

What's your theory on all this? How do you create the perfect driver?

So far, I have one cool driver, one hothead and a balanced one. But I can't tell the difference in race, really. They all do well enough, I have them all on pretty much the same level (~9 right now) and they don't feel different in race. If I wouldn't be allowed to see who I'm directing right now I wouldn't be able to keep them apart.

Do you have a different experience?

I think the best ones are the one at the bottom. 39/39 referring to number of races entered/won :)

Seriously though early I would look at Cornering, Braking and Temperment. A cool driver is better at the start later you want a driver who is a bit north of normal.

btw you will need at least 4 drivers to get to a very high level in B-Spec in any kind of reasonable time as the high xp races require 4 drivers to enter.

I have a cool and a hot driver. The Hot driver is for races that i do not have much horsepower up against my opponents, this guy would nudge and bump other cars in corners for a win. You still have to be patient and calm him down a bit.
