Best looking? Best sounding? Best top speed? Best acceleration? Fastest round corners? Most stable? Most PP? Most HP? Lightest...?

I'm personally a big fan of the Bentley Speed 8 and the Sauber Mercedes, but I've noticed the premium Peugeots are very easy to use (if a little slow).

What ever you feel most comfortable with and your willing to take some time to tune it.

There is no best car for everyone, it's what ever you can do the best in, for me it's the 908, it will keep up with anything.

Love the XJR-9 LM and the 787B. For being quite torquey, these two are very controllable given you don't mash the gas pedal/button.

yea i used to own a lot of cars but then all of my saved files got corrupt, i lost all of my good drag tunes and i just restarted yesterday. by the way, how much is the 908?

True, and if i remember right the Minolta was an easier tune. but so are the 908's, so like Itty said whatever you feel comfy with

The Audi R8 is IMO prob quickest and easiest to drive (with a lil tweaking) on a long run for tire wear...

The Bentley is decent out of the box w/ a lil tweaking is a great choice for the Nürburgring 24H, but again the Audi is over all easier to handle for a full tire run...

I used the Peugeot 908 for the Nür. 24h and had a blast .. It is a bit slower, as far as top speed, but over all is a great ride .. I just dig the looks of the car lol

...have done a 4, and a couple 2 hr stints since w/ the Mazda 787B ...if I were to do the full 24h again I may use it.

...the cars seem to respond better (less twitchy) and are more stable as well to back down the power a bit...

Do the diesels really have better millage on the game?

Very doughtfull.

I haven't noticed any big dif to say there is an advantage. I always pit based off tire need and limit how much fuel goes in to monitor time on pit road anyway...

The Bentley Speed 8 with this tune of mine. Please read it, and have a go at it. The link to my thread, for this tune, is:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=285620

With the tune I have listed above, I can regularly do laps between 3:18:000 - 3:22:000 on Le Mans (with chicanes). This is WITHOUT cutting any corners/chicanes either; I did these kind of times under Arcade mode, where the lap's are disqualified if you go off the track.

If I do go off the track, and cut corners etc, I have been able to do a 3:14:500 with this setup, on Le Mans (with chicanes).

Whenever I race a speed 8, they just can't compete on the straight. The 908 (I'm my opinion) is well a well balanced LMP(as long as you don't smash the gas on corner exits) with a tune I got mine to do a 3:12.1xx on sarthe with chicanes and pens on.

A Bentley Speed 8 in a power/weight or PP restricted room can't compete on the straights? That's something new.

Yeah, can't say about to power/weight rooms because I've never raced a speed 8 in one but pp restriction rooms, they are great through the corners, but quite slow on the straights, unless they have all been set up awfully.
