What are your favorite Cutscenes in a game?

Post one or multiple.

My favorite, were the Tomb Raider 2 cut scenes. I didn't finish the first game, but the second was such a ride(took me ages to complete the Venice boat jump and the sunken ship mission). If a game could be remastered, this would be it.
 
  • Sonic Colours pre-final boss scene. I feel like this was the start of Sonic being a more self aware franchise and I remember getting a few chuckles from this.
  • Not really a cutscene and rather a subjective but the scene before the battle with Ghetsis in B2/W2 was built perfectly. It immediately starts off with him showing his power by using his Kyurem to actually cause harm to you (this kind of stuff is usually saved for the Manga) before showing his insanity after what happened last game and the one that hit me the most when he recognized your Pokemon getting upset with him. This small bit was very powerful for me, everything Ghetsis has done, all the people and Pokemon he mistreated (even calling his Kyurem an empty being since it was considered the leftovers of Reshiram and Zekrom), and my Pokemon are acknowledge to stand by my side with the same feelings as we try to take down who is arguably the most evil character in Pokemon history, and the end result is satisfying to boot, this certified my view that Gen V is the best Gen of Pokemon.

In the past year, I can say I've fallen in love with the Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku series. After playing Yakuza 0, I can say it has probably the best music and intense cutscenes out of the series. The buildup to the boss fights gets you pumped up so much!





There's plenty of other good ones, but I picked out these two.

Everything in Beyond Two Souls; the whole game is essentially one big cutscene!

I originally didn't want to post this one, but since I posted up the ending anyways. This boss fight has a such B.A. start.
