What can we expect in terms of expansion of the track atmosphere and it's variability?

That's pretty much one of my questions that got taken down. I hope this one is allowed to stick as I'd love to see genuinely unpredictable weather, fog effects, winds, etc. And ideally on all tracks too.

Why was it taken down?

Well, you worded it more as a suggestion. Mine is worded as a question to kaz.

I know the PS3 is being squeezed about as hard as it can be by GT6, but it would be nice to see some more life in the environments if possible, even though the real good stuff will probably be in GT7. I envision variable breezes moving flags and swaying trees individually and differently every time. Crowds moving around and reacting to the race dynamically. Damage from collisions with the trackside barriers. All kinds of things.

Yeah, and that makes me dubious for very much of this to happen in GT6. So many processes are running already that squeezing something in like more individual movements of spectators could affect performance. Trackside shadows still look pretty bad, and that should be a clue.

Dirtier tracks that look raced on would be something though. Dare I say it, Forza artists are great at making a race track look well used. It's unfortunately a Japanese thing to want to have everything looking immaculate as possible, but PD needs to stifle this urge and give us some darn grime.

I watched Monaco this year (first F-1 race I have ever watched somewhat live), and I was very interested to see the marbles on the edge of the racing line. Yeah, I'd like to see that!

Preach to the choir, guy. ;) I assume you saw some of the Project CARS videos with the marbles bouncing on the track surface as some car screams past. And there are tons of other things I want to see, like puddling on Johnnypenso's pet wish, uneven track surfaces, and realistic evaporation rates. I've been asking for a few years now for generated wind gusts in windy weather, and there it is as one of Drive Club's 50-plus Details.

There are so many things to hope for in Gran Turismo, but I'm afraid that the poor, antiquated PS3 just doesn't have the clocks or ram to enable that lifelike stuff. PS4, on the other hand... :D
