What can you confirm? GT7 Vs IRL?

I just realized I drove a 488(Pista) on track IRL and haven't even touched it in the game.

Celica ST205. Haven’t put enough time in in GT7 yet. Visually quite a good representation (fun to see the original stereo), but my first impression is that body roll was modelled closer to real life in GT6 and laptimes in Spa seem a little fast on CS. Will having another go and see how close it gets.
Thsts weird. Personally i feel the default setup for the celica was better on gt5 than gt6. For gt6 you have to change a lot in the suspension to get it feeling similarly

Come to think of it I could have been thinking of GT5 in fact and you’re absolutely right. I had the suspension looked over and am running pretty new dampers and the camber in front is a little more aggressive as far as the stock suspension goes, but GT7 feels a little too lively.

I can confirm that the proportions of certain vehicles are "off" in VR. The Porsche Taycan is a lot wider IRL compared to how PD modeled it.

That's nothing ground breaking as it's been discussed that certain vehicles are modeled incorrectly/weirdly. This is just one example that I can confirm from personal experience.

I just did a wet track drift session with a Mustang GT. So I tried some drift trials on a wet Tsukuba. First impression is that there is a lot less traction in GT7. TCS 1 brought it much closer to having everything off in the car irl. The way the car would understeer given too much turn in is very similar to irl. Playing w a controller, wonder what it would be like with a wheel.

I can confirm that cars are had/have irl were really good made in GT driving wise, they especially nailed Giulia GTAm , I drove QV but it's not big difference and car drives very similar irl and game.. Also on GT6 one of my previous cars Brera V6 was nailed driving wise... previously also 156 2.5 was pretty much spot on handling wise (I only had 156 1.9 tho)

Something I've always wondered is how realistically they represent the sensation of speed as compared to real life. Not necessarily the physical sensation, but at least the visual aspect. Either from the driver's seat or from a spectator position.

I suppose an IRL test could be performed with a static camera in a location which is in the game.
