Hi, i'm trying to play the quick matches there, and eventhough I choose a good car for the 550 PP regular car battle, I always end up in the final positions. any tips for a good car that can rivl with the top 2 at 550 PP?

McLaren MP4 is pretty quick. So is the Tommy Kaira ZZII. Both of them happen to be the Duel of the week competitors

Although sometimes it's not just the car, it's also the driver. I'm no outstanding driver but I used to love choosing the inferior cars to defeat those in faster cars just because they couldn't drive.

That I Knew. It just could be more helping to have a competitive car too

What tyres? At 550PP on C or S tyres the Diablo GT is very fast compared to the opposition. The AWD cars won't have enough power to outlaunch you at this PP and because of the PP penalty when driving AWD they will be slower on most tracks except Eiger etc. I'm sure there are a few normal-for-this-pp cars that are faster but not that I can recall. The really fast ones like the heavily tuned low pp cars will only beat you on fast tracks. And once you're up and going, the car is quite "amicable" at this PP (550PP - 493hp/1281kg) but seems to be as fast or faster on the straights than the others. The handling of this car is the key though. It is EXCELLENT. The turn-in is superior to anything else I've driven (sure some cars may turn in more aggressively but because this car has SO MUCH GRIP it is much more controlled and doesn't snap)

Speaking of grip, here's a little secret - if you're in a stock room, wet track, or on comfort tyres, this car is AUTOWIN at most PP. Just try it. NOTHING has its grip in poor conditions. Ofcourse, don't expect to jump in the car and immediately be successful, but a bit of practice and bit of tuning (toughen diff, harden springs and dampers, follow the stock ratios of front/rear as a guideline but tune for a bit more oversteer as is needed with most cars in GT6) and you will be in love man!
