I started the game and bought a PT Cruiser. Since it is probably the worst car in the game, I ended up canceling that game and buying a Storia X4. So here's how my "car lineage" went:

1. DAIHATSU STORIA X4 (sold for #2)
2. MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO VII GSR
3. NISSAN SKYLINE R34 GT-R V-SPEC II
4. SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STi ('02)
5. OPEL SPEEDSTER

All are fully modified. I didn't like the wheels on the WRX -- I wanted the American version -- so I went to the wheel shop and took off the stock wheels for a more toned-down version!

The Opel Speedster is the best investment I ever made. Bought every possible go-faster mod. Buy one for a kick. :D
 
Started with a Yaris (Vitz??) J, cos it seemed to be able to get me in to the most number of series in one car, once it had a turbo and racing gearbox fitted it got pretty nippy.

Then went on to the little 600cc Daihatsu, only cos I wanted a Mini Cooper for the rally section. Maxed both of those out and golded every comp they're eligable for in beginner.

I've ended up with some cars from wining various series, but I’ll leave those alone at the moment because I went and bought the Mercedes 600 in the mistaken belief that it will take a turbo, WRONG! Doh! But ends up with 600bhp anyway which makes for some fun in the corners.

Not too sure what to buy next, so i think i'll finish maxing out the Merc, then take a look at the American stuff.

Then i'll have to do something about the next licence i think.....
 
I only just started my own game (was sharing a card ) and went straight for the kill by doing the Time Trials for the Esperante , then went staight onto the rally licences and won the Subaru Prototype , thats all i've done up to now , i've not driven any of them yet .I am currently doing the other licences a bit at a time :)

I started with the PT , then won the miata and made most of the first money with it on the turbo race (i put a stage 2 turbo on it) on super speedway i think ... then it just all went... Now i'm at 100 , and i think there's no reason to list my cars... in garage i have all cars that can't be bought in the "Car dealer" and some of my fast cars besides that (modded normal cars)...
 
i started out with the trueno and then made some big money up to 100,000 and then bought a supra rz. its really souped up with 1087 hp. currently my top speed car of 280miles
 
I recently justs started my GT3 game over again while I was at a friends house. I just got all golds on the "b" license and won the Miata then modded it up with 18,000. Nice way to start the game. :)

how did that manic get the esperante gtr-1, that justs spoils the fun of the buying in GT3.

i started with the mx5. and then the trueno... and then a viper. and i forgot wat i got after that but i think it was a mercedes, and then i got the clk touring car...
 
I started with a Miata, bought of course. Then saved up until I could buy a Mazda RX-7 RZ. Then it was on to the Evo VII..... Prize cars after that kept me going until I needed a Mercedes for the Silver Arrow races....

It doesnt spoil the fun of getting GT3. Just because I started with that car doesnt mean that I'm not going to start over again without getting the Esperante first.

I just restarted a couple of days ago, took the golds in the B-License to get the Miata, slapped exactly 18000 worth of mods on it (no small miracle that), and won a horde of races right off the bat. Every eligible B-license (or no license) race that the Miata could enter, I've won with it.

Just bought an Integra, used it to win the FF and Type-R races. Preparing to buy an Evolution RS VI to continue the streak. No races re-run as of yet, no won cars used outside of the original Miata, and not a single loss or opt-out marring my record.

Prior to this restart, I went like this for my first four...

Daihatsu Mira -> Mercedes 230SLK -> Mercedes CLK Touring Car -> Toyota Trueno (Shigeno)

It wasn't a very competitive run after that, which is what prompted me to restart after almost finishing the game (over 95% done with 92% wins before restart).
