I know Polyphony believes in the exoctic vehicles Ferrari's, Lotus's etc, but i'm a firm believer in the classics from not too long ago.

Here are some of my examples:

TOYOTA SUPRA 97'
NISSAN PULSAR GTIR 92'
LOTUS CARLTON 92'
MERCEDES BENZ EVO II 92'(Touring Car)

I believe these are some of the cars that would create a real stirr in the guts of pure racers who would have witnessed these cars dominate in their era, & I know would give alot of these so called new generation Super Cars a run for their money.

Imagine a Supra chasing an Evo; a Carlton chasing a Subaru Spec C, Mercedes chasing a Ferrari, a Pulsar chasing a Nissan 350z.

POLYPHONY ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION !!!!!

Till the full GT5 is released, lets keep it interesting, for the true racing buffs !!!
 
Don't know how long this topic will be up, but I honestly just want any purebred race car. I know they have the Blitz, Amuse, Mine's, and the various GT tunes, but I want something that is real, like maybe a JGTC car (the Nismo GT-R is imminent, probably) or an LM racer, like the 787B.
 
There are plenty enough cars... what we need are a couple more decent tracks.
 
I agree with what you're saying. It would make things a lot more interesting.

I'd like to see these:

Ford SVT Mustang Cobra R '93
Ford RS200 '85
Talbot Sunbeam Lotus '76
Renault 5 Turbo '85
Alfa Romeo Montreal

Have to agree with him , more tracks are needed.
 
Mazda Furai with out a doubt.
Hopefully it will be in the game at least.
 
There is enough cars in Prologue. There is however room for maybe 1 more track but i'm fine with what we have at the moment. It's time to start focusing on more important things that they want to test out. Damage would be Nice as promised but we'll see anyways. Private Rooms Working with Home would be an excellent touch but all these great cars I want saved for the Final GT5. Just remember back to Spec I where there was around 42 Cars. Compared to what we have I think it's enough to last.
 
It's funny, I haven't either played or thought about GT in while but I dreamed there were 3 new cars in an update a few days ago. They were all race cars but I only remember that one of them was a Pagani Zonda, can't remember what the other 2 was.

I dreamed about GT a few days ago, too, except I was dreaming about flying around La Sarthe in a pack of Group Cs.

Man, scratch my post above, I want the Porsche 962C!

Now when you mentioned swedish makes I think i remember one of the two.. Koenigsegg CCGT.

Actually some of my highest wishes for GT5 is the SAAB 9-3 Pikes Peak rally car and the Volvo 242 Turbo Group-A race car.

"normal" street cars IMO are welcome, like...Seat Ibiza, Fiat Punto...Renault Megane, etc.
Those everyday cars are also important, hope they are not forgotten.👍
 
How about some kind of concept car with warp drive and gravity field downforce generators...
 
aint there a merc. benz from 1883 or summat like with 1hp, then i'd like Sphinx to run a registry qualifier with that, wonder how many laps of suzuka people would do:sly:

since there were 3 new cars in the spec III update, it wouldnt hurt to see 3 Super GT race cars in a new one... Supra/SC430, GT-R/Z, NSX... its all good

I agree, I love pushing every day car's as hard as they go, GT4 really shined in this...
 
The drift RE Amemiya Rx7 as they promissed us in the U.S release, and probably the nurburg track and tsukuba wouldn't hurt either
 
Tsukuba would be a nice track to have.Any of the Re Amemiya garage would be good.
 
In essence, this amounts to naught but a wishlist. We have enough of them already.
