Don't know if you have seen any SEMA-car yet, but you can find a lot of them on following site's: Worlcarfans.com & Autoblog.com.

For the moment is this my favourite car:

widebodychallenger.jpg

I love those american muscle cars(europeans too!!!)

Ot this one: Camaro Dale Earnhardt Jr. Concept

offcourse your all know that KY puts the winner of the Gran Turismo award in the game
like the Morisson Corvette we've got in Prologue.

Haha :D Have you heard about editing your original post? You just posted 4 posts in a row. I think that's a record.

Well to the subject, those cars are all really nice, but to be honest I would rather take a new track than all of those cars. :)

I'm a Mustang guy, but that Cobra Jet is entirely too boring beside the widebody Challenger and the race Camaro. Do people care about Dale Earnhardt Jr. because he's a somewhat likable guy or because he's Dale Earnhardt's son? I'm assuming the latter, and the Dale Jr. Camaro does nothing for me.

Gran Turismo's had muscle cars in the past, I'd really like to see more exotics in the game, I think I remember there being a stunning Ford GT finalist the year that Art Morrison's car won the competition.

Check out the kitted up Bentley, some Japanese tuning team got 880 hp outta this beast

the camaro race car would be nice just so we have a proper race car in the game. though i would perfer either a ZR1 corvette to be added or a corvette race car of some sort if its going to be american. i would much rather perfer some thing more off beat like the gumpert or asacri or one of the less recognized sports/super car makers

The red sled, aka the dodge neon srt4 street legal car that runs high 7s in the 1/8th and is a full time timeatack car.

Sorry I don't have names or pics (because I feel lazy right now :p)
Chevrolet Camaro Black Concept, it'd be nice to have a V6 Maro in the game, and this one is just plain bad-arse.:D
Supercharged Hyundai Genesis Sedan, not bad.

the camaro race version would get my vote simply because it's a racing car;).
but then again i also would prefer an track more then 10 new cars.

Both the 23" GTR and Rolls would be pointless in GT5, and only the Hyundai with the big wing (RMR correct?) has any purpose and decent looks. I really don't like the orange HKS one, I didn't know the Genesis Coupe could be so ugly (especially the front bumper).:yuck:

I guess the Challenger would be OK.

@ JvM yeah sorry for the multiple post, taught some guys woudn't know what the SEMA-show is, and how close it is to PD.

GTR seems to be looks only. Would be nice to be able to do that yourself within GT5. That's another topic altogether though!

@ Lando

i liked the testtrack in GT3 too, a lot of different corners, enjoyed testing al my cars
there(loved the Ruf RGT, arhgggg:crazy:)

Yeah I completely agree....the Complex String was probably my favorite track of all in GT3. Perfect test track...long sweeping corners, and then a few slalom sections, and then some long straightaways along with some fast corners...and the track was flat as well. Not like the Nurburgring as far as elevation changes, length and difficulty, but nonetheless a very enjoyable track.

Anyways back on topic....from the pictures shown I do like the first Challenger a lot as well, maybe one of those Camaro's, and there is something that I like about that Blue and silver Hyundai with the wing.

The point of this thread is to pick a car from this years sema. As in the last few years, a car is picked to be put into the gt series.

Anyhow I thought the Ronn Scorpion wasn't part of sema but since seing that now I would pick that.

I wonder if fuel economy will vary with cars in gt5 (for endurance races at least) since the car can do 40mpg.

OK then the Dodge Challenger Super Stock Concept, the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet and any other drag car that was over there (even the FWD's)

No thanks. I want to change my rims, but only to ones that make sense on a racetrack. 23" is just stupid, it would hurt acceleration and have an adverse effect on handling. It's just ricing really.

It would be interesting, how many people would drive Priuses I wonder.:lol:
