What car for each race?

Has anyone created a list of what car to use for each race?

I'm not bothered about overpowering the competition. I check out the list of cars that I'll be up against and can't decide which one is best: greatest bhp is obvious choice but I must be able to use a certain car for more than one race, therefore saving me cash.

Tuning is not my thing, I did on a Corvette something or other for the FR challenge and tuned it quite a bit and wasted loads of money as I thrashed the competion, hmm boring that way.

I prefer to simply buy tyres and weight reduction to give me a slight edge, I'm a rubbish driver but it wouldn't be called racing if I just Tuned and won each race.

So can anyone help?

I can see g4geisha has put up a B-Spec list for overwhelming the opposition, and with B-Spec I don't mind having a superior car beacuse the AI driver (Bob?) is, well not very brilliant.

I haven't seen anything like this, but there are so many variables - I'm not surprised.

The closest I have seen is a HP figure in the matrix, that has been produced.

Having said that, I do agree that something like the points in GT4 or in GT5P would help set up interesting A-spec races.
 
Go to mygranturismo.net and then filter by event and once you click on the requirements for that race, it shows you all the cars which are eligible which you can then sort by hp, torque, etc.
