My search link does not seem to be working so i just thought id ask.
What car should i choose if i want NO challenge at all in order to win the PD cup.
I want to get through it as fast as possible.

Oh and whats the limmits of tuning for that particular race?

Thanks

Toyota GT-One Road Car! It is by far the fastest car you can use for the PD Cup. After it though, the Nissan R390 Road Car is fast too. The Ruf RGT is a good choice. The Chevrolet Corvette Z06. But your best choice is going to be the GT-One.

If you just want to bull-doze your way thru, the Jag XK-220 or the Toyota or Nissan suggested by Vash.
If you want to stay awake during the races but also have an easy win, give the Lotus Esprit a shot.👍

I would have mentioned the XJ-220, but I forgot it was even in the game. But in all reality, any high powered car will be able to win the races.

And the cars must be stock except tires and oil change.

But I have to ask: even in a GT One roadcar, it's going to take a couple hours. So why waste that time breezing around an empty track? The scenery's not that good. A challenge makes it interesting and more satisfying.

I tend to agree with this. The races are not all that short, so it is going to take you a while to finish them, even if you have the GT-One Road Car. I did the Trial Mountain Enduro with a MSElise and had a blast, though it was a pretty easy win. I had fun trying to set a faster and faster lap. It a blast trying to gain every tenth, hundredth, and thousandth of a second in the MSElise because it is such a fine line between extremely fast and pretty quick. Plus you cannot beat a car with such awesome handling.

Even with an elise on T2s, it's smooth sailing after the fastest AI car pits, then it actually gets boring.

Why make THE best racing series in the game sooooo booooooring?
Do it in something at least partially competitive.
See write ups thread for some good reviews.
Nissan Z concept on T2 tyres will p#ss all over competition in this series, but please, please, please don't ruin a truly great contest by running a GT-One or Speed 12.

The speed twelve has horrible stock handling (especially on T2s)
The Speed 12 is the best handling car in the game

I know that wasn't him, but that's what he'd say.

I still am trying to figure out how the **** Famine beat this with the Integra Type R . . . I am currently trying to work on using the RSX Type S and having issues. . .

You know it!

That and the Motorsports Elise :D

The Speed 12 handles great, you just need to know how to drive it and with over 800Bhp going to the rear wheels you'd better not have a heavy foot (or thumb if you use the pad).

I used the nissan road car. Sure the gt-one would have been easier but I don't have it yet. It was real easy, I lapped every car atleast once during every race, sometimes lapping more than half the field three times (special stage).

booooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggg!

I don't have enough time to play the game the way it should be. I used AR max to get me 98% through with the game. I just do races to win certain cars. Well I don't even have to do them if I don't want, I can just use the instant win code. But there is no time trial code, so I'll have to do those the real way. I like to just get good cars, and make good setups for them, either for racing or drifting. Though I had fun seeing how many times I could lap the other cars, and how long I could go without pitting.

Hey thanks for your replies. Don't get me wrong i like to make this game challenging, however i like to breeze through each event first then work out which car would be most fun to use and redo the race.

I think a stock Gt-one Road car will be an easy win.
Thanks again

I did it in a R390 Road Car, and I had probably a much better time in that than I would've in a MS Elise or an RUF. Why? Because it was fun to just drive around the track.

I tried using the R390 but it wouldn't let me use it 👎

PD cup is a NORMAL only race. If you've used the R390 car for anything else where you've added modifications or done a lightweight mod, then it won't be eligible. The only thing you can change from the stock car is the tyres before entering any NORMAL car race. Hope that helps.
If you go to Run & setting you can remove most mods like mufflers, turbo kits, flywheels, gearboxes etc. The only things you can't reverse if you've done them are the port polishing, displacement up and any of the lightweight modifications.
Check to see what your R390 has got done to it.

You are trying this with th R390 road car, not the race car right? :dopey:
