Okay, so I have been quite satisfied with my GT-R so far, but as the A-Class races get tougher, and because the online sports car races are packed with some powerful straight-line cars, I'm thinkin it may be time to upgrade.

I have about 450k Cr., and was looking at both the Gran Turismo Concept Ford GT, and the Concept Corvette. I am assuming they both have great straight line speed, but my bet is hte Ford GT has a small edge there. And I am also assuming that the vette has superior cornering. So which car, if either, is the way to go?

Or should I say, 'the hell with it', and get the Ferrari F40? LOL

I'd go with the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car. Will get you through S-class 700PP too. :)

Buy the Tuned Vette over the GT 40 LM. It´s much easier to control.

Well damn, so far I've got valid reccomendations for all......I should have made this a poll lol. I am a big time Vette fan, so I am eager to give the tuned Vette a run. But if I am going to need the F40, maybe thats the way to go for now.......How does the F40 do with online races? Is it a tough beast to tame?

The Jaguar XK :sly:
lol, I had to say it.

In all honesty, if you're worried about being stuck with a monster you can't control, the best cars to get you used to faster racing are the TVR's, Aston Martin or the Vipers & Corvettes.

Personally, the Ford GT is favourite offline.

Ford GT is a nice car to piss about in as well as take to the track

Its sounds good and goes hard, but it`s useless at any corner it see`s, . It tries to turn around and go back whenever it even sense`s a corner coming. :nervous: Can only use it with trac control & ASM turned on. :grumpy:

Have you bothered to try tune it? Handles pretty well providing you don't run into every corner thinking you're going to hit the brakes and stop like a Lotus
