What car to paint gold?

I had just recently got a gold chrome paint chipe and i was wondering what car i should use it on. I was thinking that i would either put it on a car i use a lot like the viper acr, enzo, or the db9. It will either be one of those or zome random compact car that nobody has painted gold...... any ideas?
 
Go look for a chromes only thread in the photomode section. You'll actually get to see something rather then suggestions. 👍

I painted a racing prototype ISF in gold and it looked pretty good, which surprised me, since I always thought gold cars look tacky. Best paint chip is that mad purple one you get on TVRs.

Thanks. If it was a random car i have a couple of ideas. Honda odyssey, Fiat 500, and the other van you can buy (i forgot the name)
 
I have a better idea. Create another PSN account, send the paint there and you can duplicate it to your hearts delight every day and have dozens of gold cars in your garage. Do a search for "duping paints" or something to that effect and it'll tell you how to do it in detail.
 
My Miura is painted Gold Chrome, looks fantastic, pictures to follow.

Thus far I've only applied chrome paint to wheels. Not been brave enough to apply them to a car yet. I've a loathing for the gold chrome and doubt I'll paint a car with it. I expect I'll lash some silver chrome on a few cars though. Top of the list will be either the AC or the Shelby Cobra. I drove halfway across the country to see an AC Cobra that had been stripped back to bare metal and clear coated. Amazing looking car, spoilt by the scantily clad bimbo sprawled across the bonnet...

Generally I think it looks rubbish and kind of ricer to paint cars gold... but I did paint my Acura NSX RM gold and thought it looked pretty cool :)
 
I don't think the gold Chrome could render the Miura look too different from in the original hue... If I'm directly inquired from you which car you should put the gold paint on, I wouldn't have advised you to paint it with an yellowish color such as gold.

I've painted it Gold on purpose, it is completely stock except rims and paint, original colour was too "flat" but i didn't want to change it drastically. IMHO gold fits perfectly on Miura.
 
Not a fan of chrome or gold paint at all here, but i gotta admit that the Zonda R looks pretty good in it.
