Hi all ...well i have now had GT3 fer about 4-5 hours...and yes I love it but was wondering if i could rack yer brains...as a complete newbie i went fer the MX-5 tweeked it till i won the sunday cup sold my prize car and dropped a turbo on me mazda ...is this the right way to progress? as i am having real trouble getting me next prize car!! :rolleyes: anyway...back to it...:D
 
Sounds like your on the right track. You need to win a few more races and save your credits, then buy a good car to kick but with.

Also read through the posts for good info on your next car to buy.
 
There are a bunch more series that the Miata is good for. The Clubman, the FR, The Turbo, The Roadster, and The 80's. Win these before you think about getting a new car. The Miata is plenty for these races, soup it up to the max.

You'll need to keep the Vitz and the light weight car you win, other than that you don't really need the other cars.

look at the prize list for an Idea of the cars you'll win so you know what not to buy.

There are two miata mx-5s. one is 16,900 and the other one 17000. The cheaper one is an 89 model while the more expensive one is a 93 model. Dont sell the cars you win unless they are doubles. You cannot win those cars agains unless it was a series cup or an endurance.

Did the same thing and it work good for me. Later I bought and beefed up my Miata (J) which lead me to the Accura NSX. That pretty much took care of the most of it till I won the F090/S on the 100 lap endurance race (with the NSX) which really opened the doors to some serious credits.
 
yeah i started with the apex also, then modded it, then won hella races, then bought the mustang which got me a lot of credits, then, i won the vertigo, then stuff just took off, now i have 4 million Cr and 32 cars. yay! haha
 
I started with a lovely red mazda MX5 and then i think won ...... coulda been some japanese cup, and i won a silver Nissan Skyline GTS-R and boosted it up to 850 ish HP. That won me quite a lot til i could afford summin better.
