There was a car in GT 4 that was not featured in GT5 that looked like a rocket ship. It was huge and if I remember correctly it was either Audi or Benz. It was an old race car I think that you were not allowed to use in races, I bought it and I dont think I ever even tested it. So if anyone could tell me it'd be appreciated. I'd check myself but my GT 4 no longer works on my PS2. I was so disapointed :'(

I think it was the Auto Union Type C Streamline?

The Auto Union:)

The only "Rocket" car that comes to mind is the Chaparral 2j:

But it is featured in GT5

Probably was one of those. It was so cool looking it looked like a space ship. What was the top speed if anyone knows? It was such a cool car. Too bad its not in GT5 maybe some day since PD has shown they can handle DLC
No it wasnt the 2J

Thats it. Thanks. Anyone know of the top speed of that?

I think it was in the 260-270 MPH range as it was used for top speed runs back in the day if I remember correctly.

I bought it and used to play with it on the top speed runs, it ran in the 260-270 range. I have a model of it sitting in my living room  Awesome car.

Now why there talking about it, why did the Auto Union and other awesome, unique cars form past GT games not make it to GT5? Licensing stuff perhaps?

^^ I don't know but I would have loved to have driven it in premium cock pit mode :(. I wish they would have included some of the Silver Arrows too since Mercedes and GT seem to have a good relationship.

I seem to remember the open wheeled, open cockpit version from GT3 or 4...The open wheeled version had more of a" Rocket " look..The Duel rear wheeled version, looks like animal..
