I'm looking to work spec some cars, for the trophy too (3 needed) but I have no clue what car is good for it because the first car I did it with was a retro one (can't remember what one it was) and the car had too much power it was made only for drag racing or someone (not me) with very good driving skills because it was just impossible for me to turn round bends it had too much power I spun everytime.

Maybe you can help me... what cars have you done it too and anything I need to know before trying it out because its not cheap and not undooooable -_-

;)

Toyota Supra and Mclaren F1, and i think i have some i won from various ingame events. The works cars seem silly to me, well over 1000hp racing cars that are effectively a lot faster than the cars you're progressing to, the GT1 cars.

My Mclaren at Catalunya hits a higher speed down the main straight than an F1 car does.

Camrao SS, and it is way to much car. Needs the HP knocked down some, may mess with the settings some more but not sure I'll get anything that will keep it planted to the track.

Forgot I also did the Sterling Moss, handles much better than the Camaro. Only drove it a couple times around Monza but the C and B cars are much more fun.

It seems a waste to works upgrade cars like the E30 M3 Evo and 190 Evo 2, IMO SMS should works upgrade these cars to their real life race versions which would be Group A DTM.

The only car I have works upgraded so far is the AE86 because it's one of those cars seen in wacky tunes.

I've worksconverted a Gumpert Apollo for those rare circumstances where I end up driving a class A race. It will mostly collect dust in my garage while I'm out having fun in my S2000 though.

Audi S4 - but it's quite impossible to drive, might need a decent tune for it. So if anyone has something, maybe hidden somewhere...:p

BMW M3 E36 - Sometimes for a few seconds I'll think "Hey, it's drivable now!" but then I'll get to a corner. It would probably be twice as fast if it had half as much horsepower.

Renault Sport Megane RS - Meh. I suppose I could spend another hour trying to tune it, but it just hops around the track like a bunny rabbit. It's really cute though, I'll give it that.

The Murcielago LP640, when works converted, is fast, yet tame..to me at least

Oh my god! The Gumpert is super sweet! It doesn't have the acceleration of the other works super cars but the handling is second to none. I recommend you take it out more often.

For some reason the LP640 doesnt show up in my car lot.
I have the LE of the game, but I cant get my codes to work :/

(i play on a ds3 on Pro handling everything off except ABS )

Works tuned the
Focus RS - good allround car but insane to handle

Alfa 8C - Amazing car to handle and drive but.. refuses to go up gears once it goes above 4th it just hits the rev line and wont shift so its pretty much semi auto but i still love it and shifting every so often isnt too hard

I tend not to works cars as they are either too quick or ugly or both, however the Merc 190 Evo 2 worked it great, not too quick (its still class B) and handles good too! I have worked a Supra & Challenger Concept, both far too powerfull for their own good, great for drifting though!

I tuned Nissan R32 (the old one) and it's sweet. I've won most of the races with it where I could use it. Handles perfectly, looks nice and ain't that expensive.

impreza
cayman s
murcielago LP640

They're all OK-ish, I manage to drive them, sort of, but they're way too fast for me...

But I works converting them, since whenever I take a works converted car to the nordschleife the game freezes. Does anyone else have this problem with nordschleife and works converted cars?

I haven't done any cars and I don't plan to.

esp reading what people say,it seems like the cars become so fast they can't be driven.

911GT2rs is probably one of the best handling works cars in the game
And the GTR SpecV is amazing as well.

I just finished Works converting an E30 BMW M3 Sport Evo.

It's a hilariously dangerous car to drive.

Nissan GT-R R32
BMW E30
BMW E36
McLaren MP4-12C
Pagani Huayra

The Huayra is amazing at stock, but Works convert it and it's even better.

Delta Integrale - what a beast 👍👍👍
Continental Coupe - luv it, both the looks and the driving 👍👍👍
Honda S 2000 - dont give a damn bout it, was just for the trophy

I did the works spec on the Scion tC, Supra and Camaro SS. The tC is pretty awesome with the works spec, the Supra does good as well but the Camaro is pretty crazy. I tried to tune it so that it would not redline every gear but I was unsuccessful. I have to mute the game if I want to race with the Camaro now because the sound is so irritating.

R32 Skyline
FC3DS RX7 (handled better when it was a 20b j-ported non-turbo)
135i
R35 gtr (best handling works car)
Otherwise theyre all mildly modded cars that handle well, despite lacking in HP, makes the racing a lot more interesting

go in to the transmission and put the gears towards speed, that will kill the ridiculous red line in .001 seconds.
