Gr.2 race at the red bull ring. 3 laps in a row I get punted on corner 3 ( the tight right you take in 2nd) 3 times got huge penalty even though I was on the line and the punts were kamikazee punts. 1st lap 5 secs, 2nd lap, 11 secs 3rd lap 17 secs?

what is that about?

to make things even better I get 2 clean races, and my SR drops ...

Hard to say without a video but the penalty system guesses who's to blame without all of the variables.

It's a grin and bear it system. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not.

The penalty system doesn't guess, it simply penalizes the car that stays on the road. If both go off, the first car to go off gets the penalty. When multiple cars are involved, the last one to make contact that stays on the road gets the penalty. It doesn't make sense, yet it's quite consistent.

You can use it to your advantage and punt the car in front of you into another car. As long as the car you hit stays on the road, that car will get the penalty for punting the car in front of them off, and you get away free. It's broken, always has been.

How did you not see the obvious at least once, even twice? If it happens once you would anticipate it maybe happening again.
