I am curious!! I have looked at various offerings and wish to know what the greater Sim community looks for in an Sim dedicated Pedal Set.

ie things like Brake feel or Throttle control or accurate clutch feel, (many Games and simulations have NFI how to address a clutch axis in game , IMHO it should be the same as the throttle or brake ie analogue input but many seem to use some fuzzy logic so to speak and trying to use the clutch as you would in a real car doesn't work any where near the way it should.
But then again I heel & Toe using the clutch and brake with the left foot as well as the Brake and throttle with the right, to maintain smooth balance of car control.

So over to all you racer's , just what do you look for in a Pedal set. ??

Well, my number one thing that I would want that I'm pretty sure is impossible, is FFB pedals. These pedals vibrate when they should, and even adjust spring stiffness and travel distance to match the car you're driving. Could you imagine how awesome it would be? Realistic Clutches!

The Fanatec Club Sport pedals do offer FFB when used on the PC and do vibrate even when connected to a console. My pedals for example are set to vibrate when I get close to wheel lock.

A pressure sensitive brake is very important imo. Especially so when playing without ABS

How about something like these ?

Those look sweet, but since I am a manual shifting type of guy I need my clutch.

What pedals are they? Cause that's some nice engineering and those pads look really nice and ergonomic for under our feet.

They are by a guy on iracing, clutch pedal will be available as an add on to teh two pedal set and as a 3 pedal set too if i recall correctly.

That be me :)

Yes, I will be coming out with a 3 pedal version as well for the clutch. Just thought I'd share them here as well. cheers.

Hey natchamp,

When I build my next F1 cockpit, I'll definitely look at your 2 pedal set up.....and you don't have to ship. I can pick them up because I live in Vista.

...but I wish I had a porsche to put your other products in....and take it up to Big Willow. I miss the days of taking my shifter kart up to streets and my Evo up to Big Willow. Now I can only afford sim racing.

Wow, we should get together if you are in Vista. I used to be into karts as well, 87' IKF National Champion in Expert Class. And also into P-cars as u know. If you want to see the pedals in action just let me know. I have a set I'm testing right now.

man, I'd love to see you go around Streets in a 125cc. Bet you would light it up. I did around 1:23ish in the reverse config where you come down the big hill to start finish. I thought I was setting a land speed record. In the meantime, Doug Hayashi was doing 1:19's and lapped me in a 20 minute race! LOL

have you ever taken any 911's up to Big Willow?

I'll definitely talk to you about coming by to see the pedals some time, but only when I have the funds to pick up a set. Maybe a few months down the line. Good luck with the sales, I think they should do quite well.
