Well, I saw a thread just like this on another forum and I thought it'd be pretty cool to know what jobs our resident GTP'rs have and how much they make. So I guess I'll start this one off.
I'm a General machinist/tool and die maker apprentice at a place in my town called Lewis Tool and Die making $11CAD an hour.
Off to the next person then.

I'm a student and make $5 a week in lunch money, which usually is gone by the end of the week, if not much sooner.

As an engineering student I was making $16.56/hr CDN over the summer +$4.50 a day for fuel and mileage expenses to and from work + auto vacation pay at 6% so it ended up closer to $18.10/hr. In four months I took home about $10000 after union fees and tax deductions and whatnot.

...there are better paying student positions out there, but this was by no means shabby. It was very convenient for me - work was a 15 minute drive from home so the $4.50 actually did cover most of my travel, and I was living with my parents (who don't charge rent) so everything I made stayed in my pocket (...or in nice little giftbags for the gf...). I made more than enough to cover my tuition and food bills for this school year, with a few thousand left over to do with as I want (some was spent on my new guitar :) )

Male gigolo. I get great perks.

j/k I’m an assembly technician / office manager getting salary pay 600.00 wk before taxes. Only work 40 hours, or close to it.

I'm a "Marine Electrician". Except I'm not an electrician, because I'm not ticketed.

I work at a boatyard, for the tidy sum of $14 an hour plus a paltry tool fund and some benefits. I've been working at this job for under eight months, so I figure that I'm not doing too badly.
I'd be happy as a clam if I were making $15, though. For now.

I’m a student 3 days a week, which earns me nothing. I’m a web developer 2 days a week from 8–4, which earns me $352 per week.

I also work in a pizza shop 2 nights a week which earns me $10/hour… when I had my car I was doing deliveries for $11/hour + delivery charges + tips so I’d end up making over twice as much a night. Job seems much less worthwhile now. :indiff:

EDIT: I also do contract web work once in a blue moon for $30/hour.

Process engineer. I improve our chemical processes and equipment. For this service, I am compensated well. Yay engineering!

I work in a bank. Not saying how much I earn cos Jack might want a raise in his pocket money.

Desk Jockey = just enough to buy food and pay bills. Plus enough from side-businesses to pay for wrecking... errh... modifying... the car.

Internet Auto-journalism (www.bigbigcar.com) = 15% of $3.10 so far, from one year's work... ain't life grand? But it's free test-drives, so I'm not really complaining.

Bahaha im a student and i make $25 a week in lunch money :dopey: But my parents spend 7k/year for school.

And i still dont get PS classes

I am the manager for a property management company. I have a basic salary in excess of £16,000 a year and I recieve 25% of the company profit each month.

Wouldn't want to post my final salary.

I'm a 'Grocery Assistant' (i.e. i stock shelves all day in the local supermarket) and it is the highest paying job i've ever had (worked at Firestone Direct fitting tyres, worked at Shell, worked at a local engineering company and a couple of other places).

Getting $12/h for 40 hours a week (10am-6:30pm Sunday to Thursday). $490 before tax, $371 after. :)

Saving up for a second Nissan Skyline (this time a non turbo manual coupe, GTS-25) and a PlayStation3 at the same time, got $800 or so towards the PS3 ($1,200) and $2,850 towards my next Skyline ($6,000 max, $4,500 average).

Need more money though, taking too long. :(

It is the best job i've ever done though, been there since April this year and haven't been bored even once. The other people who work there are all great and our supermarket i think was recently voted the tidiest of its brand in the South Island of New Zealand (in a town of 13,000 or so). :D It is also the only one i know of with its own cafe (building is only four or so years old).

:)

I'm a service admin for an Audi dealership; that means I make enough to purchase a an A6, but not quite an RS4.

Considering that Allan McNish and Emanuele Pirro are also on their payroll, they can afford me.

Really? Audi? I must have missed that, I thought you went to a Japanese manufacturer after Lexus.

Honda wasn't working for me. Too many chiefs and too many Indians, all of them disagreeing. I need a place where I can shine as an individual.

Maybe they just needed fluorescent lighting.

I'm the internet sales manager for Haig's of Rochester Jewelery and Art Gallery. I handle the gallery side more then the jewelery side however. Basically if people see something on our web page they want to buy they e-mail or call me and I sell it to them. Most of the time the things I'm selling are between $2000-$7000 but I have sold things up into the $40,000 range before. I don't know really what I make since I get base salary plus commission on everything I sell so one week I'll make a whole lot more then other weeks.

I'm a general computer guy for a phone service company. Five days a week, 9 AM to 4 PM, 7€ an hour which translates to 245€ a week and around 1000€ a month. Take the taxes away from that and you can believe I'm not overly happy with it but at least it's money.

I'm unemployed and bring in as of right now $0.

When I did work, I laid hardwood floors for roughly $400-$450 per week. That was a year ago though.

I'm unemployed for the time being, but I'm going to start looking for work next week. For jobs that I can walk to, it'll either be the grocery store or blockbuster video.

Anyone know the highest paying job that doesn't require some kind of college/vocational degree? Dom P ain't cheap.

Also, Pupik, shoot me a PM and tell me who you're with. My mom likes the idea of replacing our Explorer with the new A4. :p

1) Full-time student at Aquinas College, good for $20,000 a year (about $7000 out-of pocket)

2) I'm the lead Head Cashier at Steve and Barry's Store #19 here in Grand Rapids. Basically, I'm in charge of all the cashiers and must act as an arbiter between them and the management staff. I'm also on the "Key Staff," basically like the Illuminati at every Steve and Barry's store, that does a bit of yes/no decision making and is another link to the corporate office.

At $9 an hour and for the most part, getting the hours I want, I can't complain too much. I get to ask for a raise here in another month or so, and that will be nice. Either way, I've got enough money to live comfortably under my Mother's roof for now...

I work down at the local cinema as a main cashier, for £4.71 an hour. The annoying thing is, depending on time of year, the opening hours for the cinema varies. So during the summer I could be on as much as 35-40 hours a week but during off peak times such as now, I have 15-25 so my pay ranges between 350 and 700.

Needless to say, I want a new job.

I work evenings doing pizza delivery. Base pay is 7.93 USD an hour (minimum wage here), but with tips, I tend to average 16 dollars an hour. Which, considering its a pretty unskilled job, is pretty good pay. More so when you consider most of the school jobs that want experience around here, like programming, etc, barely pay over minimum wage.

I work as a student clerk in the curriculum department at my towns district office. I only work 2 hours a day (3 hours on wednesday because i get out of school an hour earlier) and end up working 11 hours a week. Being only minimum wage ($6.67) I make about $70 a week (about $67 after taxes) but i get paid twice a month.

I also work all saturday (9:00AM-6:00PM) at a large building that my dad and his friend owns. I forget what it would be called but it has a skate/bmx park, boxing, mini golf, etc... I don't get paid at all considering that it just opened and my dad doesn't even get a paycheck. I am getting scheduled to be able to work for pay when a paid employee can't make it though. Get sick so i can get paid damn it, lol.

Full-time student, part time "General Assisstant". I hate the term shelf stacker I do so much more than just that.

I work in Tesco, contracted to 9.25 hours a week at about £5 an hour. Soon to go up as I complete 1 year service, I'll also get my discount card. By the time I'm 18 I should be on upwards of £6 an hour there.

I work in a Solicitors as 'Office Staff'. I do general office duties, I.e helping with typing, photocopying, taking things back and fourth to our 3 buildings. I earn around £5.90 (maybe a little more) an hour, which for a 16 year old, in her first job - I think is pretty good. :) There are also many oporrtunities for me to move up within the company, and I can get into Soliciting/Accounts. And best of all, I enjoy it. :)
