What do you think the future will be like for this forum and its galleries?

Over the last two to three months, we have seen many people leave the Photomode community and then the community.

My final thoughts at this current stage:

Because of so many people leaving, it has started to have an affect on any galleries still running or starting up.

The funny thing is that when I started getting back into it, people started leaving. But basically it boils down to this:

Would it be nice if more people were around to comment on galleries? Yes.
Would it be necessary for more people to comment on galleries? Yes/No.

I do wish this scene was thriving like it used to be. I know (for me at least) having more replies would be more inspiring. It is nice to know that your work is acknowledged. I do think there will be enough people to have competitions. Although, because our numbers are dwindling, interest in competitions (and the competitions themselves) are dwindling too. I can only hope it doesn't get any worse, and I'm confident that I'm not the only one who feels this way.
