PankOverKill here running 12th overall for the northeast
just wanted to start a forum to see what everyone has to share
about there mental preparation to there crushing lap times!

personally for me a little pre "meditating" and a music breakdown gets me calm to enter the race with confidence and patience to cut the seconds out

im really enjoying what gt5 is bringing the world and the community that it has brought and evolved into.

Merry christmas guys and GOOD LUCK!:dopey::dunce:

I'm a little ahead of you at 16th (Pankoverkill, you dropped to 22nd). I just don't like Tsukuba, that track is my kryptonite.

I just do runs in breaks between studying, and I load up the ghosts of the players near the top spot to... "borrow" their lines. I love that feeling of passing a ghost on a corner and finding the weak points in the laps of the best players (alternatively: it's a real eye-opener to be passed by that same ghost because I haven't yet optimized a specific corner sequence). :p

BTW: shouldn't this thread be moved to the GT Academy section?

44th overall atm. The cars are tough. The tires are a major weakness. But that's the game. I have realized that with the wheel, my lap times are slightly improving.
