Sorry for a new thread but could find nothing on this.

I know there is a 1000km Fuji race listed in the prize cars thread

My question is what endurance races are in the game and what length or time limit are they

Thanks for replying

It has Nurburgring 24 hour endurance

...and there was me thinking 2hr endurance races were long!

I haven't seen much about this since the game was released. That race will rule 👍

Presumably you can save in the pits after a while (?) - how does this work? Is there a certain number of allowed stops per race, or a stop after 2 hours or something?

Also I'd be interested to see a whole list of Endurance races available - though I see the prize list is getting more info on this I suppose.

I haven't unlocked the Endurance Hall since it requires you to have 25% complete to open it up, but from Famitsu PS2 (Japanese games magazine), 2 of them are "Roadstar 4 hours" and "Tsukuba 9 hours", the winning prize is 10M and 15M respectively, the bonus car is "Mazda RX-7 LM Race car '01" and "Nissan Calsonic Skyline GT-R '93" respectively.

Well in the case of a 24hours race for example at the Ring (which is awesome), let's hope the IA will be fast fast so it will be an interesting race, not a boring one finishing 50 laps in front of the others...

4 and 9 hours endurance races , that's insane!
So ned to sit there 4 or 9 hours to complete the bloody endurance? :dunce:
What the heck are they thinking? What the heck , I will just do them :sly:

lol. wow you guys are hardcore. I'm just gonna put it in b-spec mode figure out the best settings and go to bed. Wake up do some adjustments and check periodically. ;) I'm too lazy to sit there and race for 24hrs

Can you switch between A and B spec in the middle of the race or do you have to do the whole thing in the mode you started in?

Heh. Well , if you are going to sleep , you will lose (maybe). You need to get your car in for pit stops and other stuff. Btw...where are you from?

I'd say you'd definitely lose. I doubt PD would program B-Spec for it to be possible to just leave it and win. So therefore it'd be more interesting to do 24 hours round the Nurb rather than 6 hours or whatever on B-Spec, I would have thought.
I guess B-Spec might get dull quickly compared to actually racing, but heh, I don't have the game yet, so I could be wrong.

In 24hr racing events, there are usually three or four drivers per car, depending on the rules of the event. I just hope you can use B-Spec to act as your driver mates...

Anyway, do you know if you can accelerate time while in B-Spec? I don't think so, but anyone confirm this, please.

hope u can save in endu races ,its hard enough to stick to a race 2 hours(its fun but not countinous 24hours) its insane there has to be a pit save .

Apparently B-Spec can be done at a '4x' speed so if a (or two) 24hr race ends up as an endurance event it will STILL be 6hrs...

Sweet, the '93 GT-R, maybe that's as close as we get to having the racing 'Godzilla' that raced at Bathurst, effectively making the Aussie's going to a V8 format... Eagerly awaiting your 25% completion and event confirmation...

To all those worried about being 25+ laps ahead of the AI at the end of 24hrs... these kind of enduro's are a TOTAL DISTANCE thing as well ;)

Why don't you guys just set up a 'team' and do the race. I did this quite a bit with friends in GT3 for some of the endurance races. Usually myself and a friend and we would switch at every pit stop, just get more friends for the longer races. That sounds pretty bad ass to me.

there is a pit-stop save in gt4 i guess, even real racing drivers can't stay behind the wheel concentrating for 24hrs, it would be idiotic if there wasn't such an option.
