This is a bit awkward to phrase, but if you had a BMW m4 tuned to perfection against an Audi Rs4 of equal perfection, and with both having the same power and weight; is there any other difference to them, or are they of equal performance?

As above really.

Although, arguably, the rs4 would be slower in the lower power regions (say sub 400) due to drivetrain loses, but at higher power (say over 500) the m4 would be experiencing traction issues that the rs4 could deal with.

So a mixed bag, hence why we race cars of comparative performance, because they can compete with each other and they all have strengths and weaknesses.

Dont reckon its modelled properly but suspension type. Wheel width. 2wd vs 4wd, torque even down to the style of the driver

Temperature could make a difference too. One might be markedly better in the cold when in warmer temperatures the difference is less.

So all the information we need is given to us when we buy and tune a car that shows how good it is. In real life, there's usually a lot of other factors that influence this and I thought Gt6 would have that variety. Ty

No they are not equal..not likely anyway. Hybriding in GT5 revealed that cars come with grip multipliers so they are preprogrammed with differing levels of grip. There are also different versions of each tire, a C and V rated tire IIRC. On your screen it shows up as "Sports Hard" but it could be a "Sports Hard C" or a "Sports Hard V" or a regular "Sports Hard". C and V tires had differing levels of lateral and longitudinal grip. Rotation/understeer is also part of the base package of every car and those that rotate better are generally faster.

On top of this you have variations in the power curve which can also affect acceleration and top speed.

Thanks for the info. :)
