Okay, so this thread was inspired by the 'What Grinds Your Gears?' thread and is basically meant to be the exact opposite of it. I mean, we could share some positive things thhat are happening to us instead of just moping around all day, every day, right? :p

So, just tell us what sort of good stuff is really getting your moot up, lately!

I'll start with the very obvious: It's the 14th today, I've just received my pre-ordered copy of FM4's LCE today and am installing it right now. So, I'm in quite a good mood. Especially since I've got the whole weekend to play it.

Yeah, not working and messing with my cars. There ya go. But also water.

Geometry exam. NEARLY got perfect. 71/75.

And then I ran around like crazy, saying YES YES YES and stuff. NOT. :p

My marks in my classes float my boat. I have 90%+ in 3 of my 4 classes. I have put in the effort and it has paid off.

Haha, yeah, the marks I got this year in preoffesional school were floating my boat guite nicely as well. The best one can achieve is 1.0, the worst 6, and I got a 1.2 and thus, am the best among people in my class :D

That Forza Planet is no longer blocked at school. After Barracuda Security Systems deemed it was not a malicious source.

My ex-girlfriend asking me if we could be make-out pals because she's missing it so much.Oh yeah! :sly:

I think that suits what you said better.

Anyway, the fact that I managed to find a copy of CoD 4 for my Xbox, 'twas £15. A bunch of my friends wanted me to get it anyway, it's all good. :)

You're probably right  Forgot about the sly smiley.

Anyways, being a gym member again also floats my boat. I haven't been to a gym for at least two years, and it's about time I started working out again. Always a great way to relieve some stress.

At my school, Wikipedia is a 'malicious source'. You can bypass it though. By going through the language selection page. Any other links and it's blocked.

What floats my boat? A day of FM4... :dopey:

@ryanb98- I spoke too soon, they blocked it again. And the workaround I had (direct url to memberlist page) has been blocked. We're talking about a school that blocked a math game site. I am going into the deep end, and am writing to the school board to remove the blocks on sites for high-school students. As at our age we know the consequences of our actions, as long as we are not disturbing others in class, I don't see the problem. This is a school board that is full of powermad control freaks. They allowed the use of cellphones in the halls this year, and no one uses them because they are allowed to. Teenagers want to rebel, if its blocked we'll still get to it, if it isn't we won't really use it. It would reduce the server load as less filtering is required and speed up the network. I WILL FIGHT TILL THE END! [/long RANT] My ability to think of this solution floats my boat.

Here they block sites like YouTube and Facebook to stop students slacking in IT. This is rendered pointless by the fact our teacher has software allowing him to see all our screen from his computer. Also, in some cases Facebook is required for pictures etc.

Also, try adding an 's' onto the 'http'.

They have that software for our teachers, and they found out about the s trick, they blocked all p:censored:ies, denied all access to command prompt (so I can't unlock sites by pinging them), and more. Applications on a jumpdrive are stopped automatically. We can talk more about this on fb. http://facebook.com/vandenal

How my business teacher says I have the potential to do great things in this world, and that's why he pushes me to do more, go the extra mile, to get the great marks. It can be difficult, especially because International Business is a Grade 12 course and I am a Grade 11 student with a learning disability that thinks differently than others. But I wouldn't give this up for anything, this is the first year of school where I try to go everyday, even if I'm not feeling well. I've been treated respectfully and no one has made fun of me, only jokes and well-mannered teasing. This year has been a rollercoaster, feeling up, down, way down, even FURTHER down, and then going way back UP after the start of Grade 11. My success, and knowing the amount of people who helped me feel better when I felt terrible. brings a smile to my face. Even though many, many, many things grind my gears, it is these things that float my boat.

Buoyancy.

Seeing great humour appear on-screen floats my boat!

But also, being close to being out of the woods with regards to essays for school - only one more to go!

I hear ya AMCNUT, one more for me too.

Also get a whole week off for Thanksgiving so I can cook dinner for the wife every night...........................................................................

J/K, I can devote that week to Forza, BF3, MW3 and Skyrim..............which is physically impossible the more I think about it.
