^^Title^^

It can't be your native country, and it must also be one you've visited. Cities also count.

Personally, US. The infrastructure is perfect, roads, highways, everything. Getting from point A to point B here is ridiculous. Also, cars, Vipers, Corvettes, Ferraris, etc... The only Ferraris here are owned by the most wanted (Yes, the ones we all hate). And food. Burger King, Arbys, Taco Bell, Wendys, TGIF (Better than what it is here)

Between Canada, Mexico, France, Spain and the UK, I would have to say that I admire France the most. Their culture makes for a very great place. It jsut felt like a very awesome place to be in. It really is a tossup between them and England, though, seeing that I have not spent enough time in the 'Kingdom to really get a feel for it.

admire?... none. But Japan is very interesting, especially there culture and history. On that note china as well... heck pretty much interested in every country with a rich history...

Seeing as how the only other country I've been to is Canada, that doesn't leave me much choice does it? ;) That one block that I saw in Canada looked really nice though.

I also like the U.S. Everything's good here, except for some of the food(Japanese, Chinese & cakes for me, personally). People are generally nice, at least in the Northwest, where I live. Too bad the weather sucks. It rains a lot in Oregon(also in Seattle, according to philly cheese).

One of my favoritest ;) things in this world is basketball, and you just can't experience this sport anywhere else in the world, like you can in this country. That's also a +(a big "plus")

Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden, Japan and Australia. (Germany, Denmark and New Zealand ain't far behind).

For the record, it can only be one, not a dozen or "maybe _____ more than _____"

Just one, please.

Likewise, since I only have been to Poland, I guess I will say that they have ...uh some nice land there.

I'm a Japanese citizen, born in Japan(so native), residing in the States.

If the U.S. is still a no-go, then can I make Japan my favorite foreign country? They suck at basketball, but I do love their food and culture. :sly:

Japan and the UK.

Japan cause it's so friggen cool, and the UK because people with actual intelligence are awesome. Rednecks have 0 IQ.

Is Windsor the strip club capital of the world? I agree Dan; that was a good block. I love Canada.

Germany was very nice. The people were really kind and helpful. The roads are awesome, from what I remember they were very well designed and it was easy to get around. Obviously it has some great auto manufacturers, and is also a couple days drive from just about anywhere you want to go in Europe. Of course the food was good, as it is everywhere in Eastern-ish Europe.

Plus, it has the Nürburgring, and I’m just waiting until I can get an international drivers license and go there for a week sometime in 2009. :D

Um, I’ve only been to Thailand (a couple dozen times), and I so do not want to live there. There are many good reasons that my mom packed up and left.

I wouldn't mind studying abroad in France. As long as I get to go to Nice and Mont Saint-Michel again.

The UK, I can't wait to go back. Everything about it (besides the weather and terrorist attacks) was awesome.

I'd have to say that I've got a bit of "Crown Envy" with the UK, so its the obvious choice for me. Given that you guys aren't that much different than we are (white, anglo-saxon, protestant), we share a similar system of government, and generally similar ideals on most things. I do admire the "English English" language, and generally speaking, the vast and extremely interesting history of the not only the nations of the UK, but generally the State itself.

Rainy weather? Check.
Fish and Chips? Check.
Proper usage of words? Check.
Great sense of humor? Double-Check.

I think the only other States that come close are Germany and Australia, mostly for the same reasons.

After reading the rules of the thread a little better, these 2 don't work any more

The thread title is misleading.

I would like to live in Canada. I've been to Toronto and it's awesome. I love the liberal atmosphere up there. Everyone looked the othee way when buying a certain herb and there were awesome shops devoted to it. It was a once in a lifetime experience, seeing as I live in the US.

Plus it's cold and I love the cold

I would love to live in the UK but given the chance i would take Santorini, Greece hands down!! And for that, i would have to say i most admire Santorini, Greece because if you look at pictures of it, its a paradise:dopey: for me atleast

GERMANY!!!!! No speed limits on the autobahn!! :D what more could someone disire :P nah but other then that i like the US :)

I really don't admire any country. They all have their positive things and their less postives things.

Haven't been to many countries, but the US has always impressed me. I like the people, the places, the convenience of everything... except for the customs officials, who seem to have been trained by old SS instruction manuals.

The Eastern Cape coastline (think Garden Route) in South Africa is also completely beautiful - the most beautiful area I have ever witnessed first hand. Unfortunately I can't claim that as I wasn't really visiting the country as such.

My favourite foreign country is Japan. Because it's just so different, and the people are all effing nuts - I love it.

German fish & chips? :odd:

German sense of humour? - surely that's a joke!

Their lack of humor is humorous to me, ha ha. But weather wise, I do find Germany appealing in that regard. Not too different than Michigan as I recall...
