What games should I ask for?!?

My grandmother asked me the other day "So, what kind of games do you want for Christmas?". To be honest, I've had so much work to do lately that I haven't thought about Christmas! I got to thinking and I couldn't think of any games I really wanted! So my request to you guys is to list some good games (whether old or new) in order to give me (or any other person) ideas what to ask for for Christmas.

Well, True Crime: Streets Of L.A. looks to be very good. Sort of like Grand Theft Auto. It's what i'll be asking for this year.
 
Isnt simpsons hit and run kinda like GTA also?

How about a list of the games you have so we don't keep listing those.

Medal of Honor Frontline
ATV Offroad Fury 2
GT3
Sly Cooper
Ratchet and Clank
Ace Combat 4
Tekken Tag
Burnout 2
Need For Speed:Hot Pursuit 2
NFL 2K3
Bounty Hunter

I'm a big fan of the Medal of Honor series. I'm thinking hard about asking for the new Medal of Honor Rising Sun. Also, of course, the new LOTR Return of the King. I don't know exactly when these two come out (I'll go look) but I hope it's in time for Christmas.
 
It would help if you told us what games you have already and what type of games you prefer.

I think the absolute required games for this holiday season are from EA: Need for Speed: Underground and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. I would only get the PC or PS2 versions of these games, since they are the only ones that support online play.

I just listed the games I had in the post right above yours!

The games I prefer are any type of shooting game, platformers, and driving. But i'm open to anything.
 
also, anyone else heard about GT:Prologue (i think its called) which is supposed to be like a really big demo of GT4 so that fans can have it before christmas, i don't personally think its worth it, i'll convince my dad to upgrade our broadband speed for online gaming first :mischievous:
 
I'm asking for Madden and NCAA 2004 (football), Medal of Honor:Rising Sun (looks very cool), Warhammer 40k (not everyone knows what that is I guess, it's a game based on a tactical board game, very cool). That's all I can think of at the moment.
 
i heard warhammer 40,000 was crappy, i saw a review on a gaming show and it said the controls were terrible and it didnt have anythinkg new.if u want to get a good fps go with xiii.
 
Yeah well the Warhammer 40k game is based on the army that I play with, the Tau. On another note that 13 game or whatever looked crappy to me, it's a cell-shaded shooter game, I don't know how that would work out with me.

NFS:Underground is really gonna be a hit this christmas, you better reserve it when it comes out or don't get it at all.
 
Also, when does Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando come out! I loved the first game (I think it's the best platformer I've ever played by far) and I think the second one looks just as good. I hope it comes out in time b/c I have to have it.
 
If you don't have the network adapter yet, I would ask for that, and I think I would also ask for the eye toy, because I can just forsee it's use in future games

Just look at Bestbuy.com, they have a nice list of games to drool at.

I'll be asking for NCAA Football 2004 or Jak II.
 
I highly suggest Madden 2004 if your a football fan, you wont be disappointed. Best football game out on the market period.

If it does come out here in Britain then I don't think it's worth getting. Just wait until GT4 so that the excitement is greater. Also, if people do play GT:Prologue and feel let down by it (i don't mean fans of the game) then they probably won't bother with GT4 because they'll think it's more of the same. It's just a really big demo of the game so that they get it out before christmas.
