So yeah, I'm an old school gt guy have owned every version of it, including the garbage (IMHO) psp gt. Nothing will keep me from playing this game to death...that having been said...I have a huge issue with the tuning on this game...I love tuning and spending as much time as it takes to get a car to handle the way I like it...all to see it go spinning down the drain every time I want to race a real person...all my work gone and nothing to show for it but a mediocre lobby tune that I throw together at the last second...

The fix? Just make tunes a File that can be saved (much like they did in FM3) so that when my car goes back to the stock tune all I have to do is load it up and I'm good to go.

If this can already be done and I'm just too retarded and not seeing it please let me know.

This is the only thing I need right now. I'm sick of typing values on Notepad...

I have not touched online yet, but what your saying is that cars from our garage (the favorites menu), will be stock when viewed in online? So if we did any tuning to them offline, will it all dissappear online?

They will still have whatever parts you've added but any settings will be default (like camber, toe, gear ratios, spring rates, etc...)

Ok, that's a headache, especially if you spent a lot of time getting the perfect set up.

It's things like this that baffle me about this game... Why?!?!?!?!?

I remember back in the old GTs you can about 3 different settings available. For the life of me I don't understand why they removed it!

I actually like it. I would rather the tunes not carry over online. I don't have the time to spend tunning cars, or the desire to figure it out. I guess maybe there could just be stock tuned rooms and tuner rooms or something. certainly when leaderboards come into play, everything should be stock tune, with no upgrades at all, and the tires that come on the car when you buy it. Usually there are glitch tunes in racing games that make cars way better then they coupld possibly ever be, and that shouldn't be part of the leaderbaords.

I would love like three "Setup" saves per car, atleast that way you could have two for specific types of track and possibly a course one.

At the minute i tune most of my cars on Trial Mountain or Deep Forest as they have the most "variety" in what you can expect in the majority of courses youll see online.

No sooner said than apparently done...my Sylvia is keeping the tune when I join a new lobby...can anyone else confirm this? Maybe it was one of the unmentioned things in the new update?

Are you sure? I have a Nissan GT-R with the torque split set to 90-10 rear and took it online last night and it felt exactly the same as it does in arcade/GT life...
