What happened to my experience points?

Has anyone had this happen to them? I got to level 39 in A-Spec and my experience points dropped down to around 700,000. Now, instead of having to earn approximately 2 1/2 million to reach level 40, I have to earn almost 7 million. Weird, or am I missing something?

^^True - I was thinking that in order to progress from level 39 to level 40, I would only need to go from 5,919,322 experience points to 7,576,732 experience points, for a difference of only 1,657,410. However, the actual increase is the 7,576,732 experience points, not the difference. In other words, I must accrue an additional 7,576,732 experience points in order to go from 39 to 40.

Seems to me that anyone other than he should have known that it in fact wasn't a problem, but stupidity. Sorry Primus, had to pick on you. To be fair, it took me a little while to catch on to the whole experience accumulation deal in the beginning. Got it around level 2.

By the way, 39-40 may seem daunting but it's certainly doable with time and I wish you luck and success on the journey.
