What happened to quick tune?

After this new update it seems like the quick tune settings are grayed out 90 percent of the time. And it's not race specific settings either. For example the AMG challenge lets you turn off traction control pre race. Sometimes I forget to turn it off before the race so I do it when I realize I'm not getting wheel spin. Well after this new patch the traction control area is grayed out. Pretty much everything is grayed out except brake balance and ABS.

Anyone having the same issues or am I retarded?
 
Do you have a DFGT? I think much of the RA menu was disabled for DFGT users, because an exploit existed where, pre-patch, even if a challenge mandated no TCS, or ASC, or some kind of conditions, DFGT users could enable it post-start, and pad users couldn't.

Kind of a baby out with the bathwater approach, but hey! What ISN'T, in GT5? Witness the exploits of the Game Save. Nobody at PD gives a rat's, IMO. They already GOT your money!👎
 
Ya that's understandable for races that require TCS to be on (donno why). But what is frustrating is realizing the new car you got has TCS set to 5 and the only way to disable it is to quit all the way to the events menu, select the race, disable traction control, then start again.

Patches are supposed to make a things better, not worse!
 
All of my new cars have TCS set to 5 as standard, don't know if it's the same as everyone else, but I have to switch it off on all my new cars before my first race.
 
The annoyance comes in the lack of consistency of carrying over the various settings. TCS must be set for every car but sticks until changed for that car but turning on another driving aid, SRF, ASM, the setting carries over to all cars and must be actively checked and adjusted if you need these features in some circumstances and not under others.
 
I am getting this also. Can't seem to adjust TCS or turn on/off ASM anymore while driving... Can still adjust brake bias and the front/rear power ratio. I hope this gets fixed or reverted if it was done on purpose.
