Thats the nismo xanavi car. I believe it IS in the game? Or did you post the wrong trailer?
 
The trailer keeps redirecting us after the commercial to the Xanavi Z.

Maybe PD thought that there was enough skylines/skyline lookalikes in the game already

Well I can actually see this one being introduced as DLC. It's one of the special GT-R's, no doubt.
 
it's especially odd since they clearly have the Skyline model down pat
 
I'm pretty sure we didn't need another Skyline in the game, and it would have probably just been a standard car anyway...

From that trailer, I see no reason to believe that they ever actually made the car for a game. Those aren't rendered graphics.
 
it's a trailer for GT HD, anyway. So yea, not really something worth thinking about.
