What happened to this product?

Maybe they had trouble producing it due to the fact that it could potentially hurt someone with risks of lawsuits...you know what I mean..
 
I often wondered what happened to that as well. They sort of strung us along about it's imminent release and still nothing.
 
I wasn't that interested in it to be honest, I mean sure it adds immersion but I think that would be counteracted by the feeling of having something dangling on your shoulders..
 
Could we all agree that this product is simply put "dead in the arse"?

Gaming vests have never been hugely popular which this resembled doing.

Turning your body into a virtual speaker is a bit different than using tactile on say a chair/cockpit. If some of you wanted or were creative you could likely buy some "Dayton Pucks" from Parts Express have them connected with a suitable small amp and build the pucks into a vest/jacket with pockets.

I guess it is doable and cheap but how good or annoying it is to wear may be a factor.

I agree, only reason I was curious was because they promoted it a few years ago then they vanished into thin air, it seems.
