What happened to those cars in GT5P!?

They are keeping them for FULL GT5 game. You do not think they will include every car they made.
I am guessing they already made more then 150 cars. They are just not showing it to us so we won't be spoil.
 
Oh of course they're not spilling all the beans yet, but I just really realized this today when I had a memory flashback. Would have been cool to have an all R33 race, I've got a thing for those even though it was less of a performer than the 32/34. Hope they bring back some of those cars in a coming update.

I remember when I was waiting for GT5P to come out, I saw screenshots of the Nissan R33 and Xanavi 350Z, BMW Z4, etc but the final product that we have doesn't have them. Whatever happened to these cars?!?

R33 and the Xanavi Z was obviously cut from prologue for whatever reason which I don't mind because they will be waiting in the full version, The Z4 (3.0i) did make it to GT5P though.
 
To clarify that Porsche pic above: that obviously is a still from a Best Motoring episode (check the number plate) in Gran Turismo TV, and therefore no proof that Porsche will be in the game.
 
Yes, I would Prefer a RUF to be in game over Porsche any day. I think GT was only and first game to introduce them. They as way better, handle better and way faster then regular Porsche.

There is a video on this website, GTTV, if you find it. It's a GT race in real world, and you see all the cars racing from GT5P game, as well a nice surprise.. LAMBO!

Of course, PD just gave us little preview that they will be working on it for FULL GT5 game.

I wouldn't get too excited yet, GT4P bonus DVD was "Making of GT4" and it was full of Ferrari's and Porsches.

It's from the same site as the Nissan R33 and Xanavi 350Z.
 
Well Lambo's eh?...I don't really care if there's Lambo's in GT5, however I would prefer to see some of the original car's from older GT games to return...R30 Silhouette Comes to mind.:D

I couldn't help but notice the very high proportion of shots in the Nurburgring 24hour preview were of Porsches aswell, you'd think they'd have tried to avoid rubbing it in our faces that we don't have such an important car, unless... :sly:

Just stirring things up :)

Also, for those of you who played GTHD, you'll know there are more cars missing in GT5P, such as the Mazda MX5, Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 and Toyota Corolla rally car. Even a Subaru Impreza rally car was featured in a replay video, but was never included in GTHD.

As some of you have said. They're keeping some candy for the full game. 👍

Except that was a preview of a real-life race (the full video of which I am still waiting for) and GT classes in endurance races are heavily populated by Porsches (GT3s I believe). It is almost impossible to feature an endurance race without showing a ton of Porsches.

Wow... I've played the HD demo, but was the Eiger course really as different as it is in that vid? I can't remember what it was like because I've played the one in Prologue so often. Half the corners there are different :crazy:

Yeah, It's different and much more detailed in GT5P compared to GTHD. 👍

The version of Eiger in GT-HD was much closer to what we have in GT5p than it is in the that vid. There are still a few minor differences, but the basic track layout is the same.
 
I just wish they gave us all the cars from GTHD in GT5:P.

My guess was they swapped the R33 Skyline, for the R34.

I've never ever seen that Impreza Rally Car movie before!!!

After being on here for ages and not seeing that!!
 
Cheers Patrik i havent seen that GTHD Trailer for over 1 year & Half lol.

Wish they did add to to GTHD At least and wish the R33 & Xanavi 350Z Race Car was added. I adore that car :(

My guess is when they started adding tuned cars they added the R34 Mines, which would mean we would have had all modern GTR generations already in some form, so they switched the R33 Skyline GTR for the R34. Just a thought.

We are missing older model of MIATA from GT HD, as well new one like this one in Prologue.

Don't forget the Bandai Dunlop SC, the Toyota Corolla ST205 Rally, and the Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe (V35). Also the steering wheel of a Mercedes-Benz 300SL was shown last year. And then there is the 2005 Audi PlayStation Team Oreca R8 that was shown in GT4: Prologue. I don't believe that they would drop a car that they took the time to get all of the info and telemetry on and then suddenly drop it.
 
The above Miata is from "GTHD Classic", you can see that it still looks like a GT4 car.
The Impreza & Celica Rally cars would be cool, the Nissan Z Xanavi thing is strange, they even showed it as the first car in Prologue ever (first trailer) and they also showed a pic from a Lexus SC430 Super GT once...
