What happened?

I have not been on GT5 for quite some time now but can someone catch me up? I've been seeing a lot of "hybrids" lately and what is it exactly? I'm not asking how to make it but just like what is it. What can someone do with a hybrid and what else have I possibly missed? Just anything new. Thanks.

Basically, regular cars with swapped engines/chassis/lots of other things. Check the hybrids thread.

Hybrids now refers to cars with chassis swaps, engines swaps and things of that nature as "hybrids". People have figured out how to alter game saves to create such possibilities. It has become a hot topic for debate, as well as trade. You will see hybrid this and that all over the forums. These are what they are talking about altered cars, not approved by PD.

Folks can't talk about how, cause its considered hacking, wich is against GTP user agreements and Sony as well.
