What has been Your greatest moment in GT3 ?

I Just ran 10 laps on Apricot Hill, and beat the Nissan 390 GT1 by 0.223 seconds. (I passed him on the final corner)

I think that race was pretty intense. And it made me feel pretty good. :cool:
So what has been Your greatest GT3 moment/lap whatever ??

Please explain :)
 
Well, last night I made a Elise hybrid with this Sample engine(it's sorta a hidden thing)and got 8120HP, with all the other mods of course. It wieghs 569KG, and has a power-weight ratio of .01??. I thougt it would just wipe out. I got it set up the way I wated it, and started a run on Test Track, and it just spun the wheels, and I put it in 5th, and floored it. It just went like a rocket and I shifted into 6th and went 575MPH. And it turned great too.

Also a week ago I made my brother's MX-6...well sort of. I used the Skyline GTS type M, black. I put the silvia engine in it, and made it front wheel drive. I got the HP to about the same as the MX-6, and he drove it. He just started cracking up.
 
The most intense race i had was in the Beetle Cup racing round the Test Course,it wasn't very many laps but the racing was very intensive with constant lead changes.I won the race but it was so close, there was only a second covering 1st place from 6th place!!!
 
I was once doing SS11 backwards (hate it!) for 15 laps in one of the championships driving a Jaguar XJ220 Race Car with the Nissan R390 as my main rival. My tires were red, and I spanked the wall out of the final corner and the Nissan pulled away - I had 940 hp though, so I started to reel him in .... only a tiny bit of the straight left - redline it!

I won by 0.000 seconds, and I've never done the race since.
 
Aghhhhh! I thought I found the highest hp at 8000, but mazkid is higher? What sample car man? If its untuned, could you get it up to 10,000+? Expect to break the sound barrier!

If you have the newest program, click on the engine code on the regular car, then click change part, then scroll to Sample, it's the only sample there. Then once you have it, get the turbo stage 3 off of the Altoworks(it boosts 280%, where as the Skyline boosts 235%), Displacement off of the Mini, and all other parts off of the Viper, and intercooler off of the Esprit. You can use NA and turbo at the same time(GT2 you'd get the UFO sound :D ). The you get the wieght reduction off of the Viper concept(only stage 1 but it's the best). You now have a full race car. The engine revs to 17,000RPM, but unlike the F1 cars, there's power at the lower RPMs too. And yes, that's fully tuned. Go try it. on the Elise, in 5th, it goes to 460, and is peeling all the way through, and you shift into 6th and it still peels a little up to my top speed of 575. Around test track, I got a time of 47 sec, with some down force problems with turning, so I had to put the normal tires back on the front. the car bottoms out around 500mph. :D
 
I'd say getting my S-License, I'd had my eye on the Dream Car Championship for getting my first F1 (the enduros weren't working out and I gave up on getting one there), but I kept on getting high 1:36s and low 1:37s on S-8, and finally I got a really good lap and peeled through the last corner, expecting to get a high 1:35 and not pass, but I came through at 1:33.xxx. And then I headed straight to the Dream Car Championship and got my F-090/S.

I count getting my S-License and getting my first F1 as the same event.

Another close one was just today when I finally finished the Polyphony Digital Series (I don't say finally because it took so many tries, it was fairly easy, but took forever), and got my F-094/S :) .
 
I'd say that my proudest moment on GT3 was Collecting All Gold.

I'd had my last memeory card and PS2 stolen from my house and was devastated. I'd been playing quite slowlyand had only just started Amateur League after completing Beginner and Arcade Modes. I had all the licences at approximately 32 Gold 16 Silver :mad:


Fortunately, they didn't take my copy of GT3, so I went home one weekend, bought a memory card and borrowed my bro's PS2 and mopped them up in three sessions, from B1 to R8. I refused to restart or exit until I'd passed each test (hence the 49 game days. Although I haven't restarted the game properly yet (I still can't afford a PS2) I consider this to be a great moment - not just for the exhilaration and relief but also because it was a small compensation for the loss ;)


Since then I've started on the Time Attacks, which I'd completed before, which is why the picture says 11.4% complete. Only one more to go, but I have drive 120 miles to play on lil' bro's PS2....

I think my greatest moment was last week. I did a 15 laps Test course race in my 787b, and i had 2 787b as opponents. We constantly took over first place by using eachothers slipstream.
After 29 minutes i won with 0,006 seconds. :D
I was pretty happy then, cause could not think about doing that race again.
That is because i HATE TEST COURSE :yuck:
 
When I beat the F1's with my R390 at Akasaka. Better yet, I tried it out with my 787 B (Fully moded to 959 + HP) at the same track to again beat the heck out of the F1's... I pulled out a .011 victory against the F001. It took quite a bit of sweat though this time... It was easier with the R390... Next time I will try my GT-One Racer (fully moded to 1300+ HP)

Anyone beaten an F1 with another type ?

So ya use that shark thing and that program thing to build 250 billion hp Pink Yaris and beat em huh ?

However ya need rock-hard tyres instead of medium or super slicks for that POSHS !! :p

Wow man, no insurance? That really sucks! Maybe you could find some guys locally that have PS2s. I'm sure if you leave GT3 with them, they wouldn't mind letting you come over to play on occation (:

My best acheivement so far was beating the complex strings time trial 10 yesterday :D

It was hard as hell ! :mad: i eventually got a time of 4:48.365 :D :D
 
Was the superspeed way in the F1 cars I won the race on the last lap, I was trailing the hole race in second and I was inching closer and closer lap by lap on the last lap Last turn I got on the inside of the F094s bearly passed him and locked wheels all the way to the finish line and held him up. But man lap after lap it was great.
 
ohh, forgot to add:
Going 42 sec around test track, going 510 around the corner, and at theend of the run going in the corner full speed and diving low then flying up the track, hitting the wall, and flying about 50 ft in the air and doing a 720(or so). :D
 
The SS11 two night track I used a regular viper GTS blue and I was mugged the first few laps I think i was about 1 lap or so behind on the last lap coming off the big turn I caught the leading car I dont remember which one it was but caught him bumped him and passed for the win that was I think my best GT1, 2, or 3 moment!!
